Alone (Jiyoo)

"My mother died in a car accident." I say to Minji as she lifts her head up from my shoulder to look at me. Years have passed since she has died. I imagine her with me and imagine the things she would say to me. Everytime my father would get mad or yell at me, I imagine her there with me telling me why he is doing this. Or how it's all going to be okay and that I'm stronger than I think. If only she was here... "I'm sorry." Now Minji says. I have her a reassuring smile and nod.

Minji finishes putting bandages on my cuts and closes her first aid kit. "Thanks." I say as I stand up and start heading toward her door. "Wait-" Minji yells. I turn around to see her rushing towards. She smiles and opens the door for me. Gentlewoman?!! Wow. "What a gentlewoman!" I say with a smirk and she chuckles. "Wait-" Minji says again and I turn around. "Um...do you need help getting home?!" She asks nervously. "Well...you did bring me to your house in your car..." I say with a finger on my chin. "Ah okay okay, I'll take you home!" She says with a smile and heads towards her car. Of course she opens the passenger door for me and walks back to the driver's seat.

We arrive to my front door now. "Thanks Minji." I say as I exit her car and she exits as well, probably to walk me to the front door. "Um...so I'll see you tomorrow?!" She says with a smile. I nod and was about to head in but Minji's action caused me to stay frozen in place. I felt soft lips come in contact with my skin. Minji's scent filled my nostrils as she invaded my "personal space." Did she just kiss my cheek?! I look at her after she backed away nervously but then hid it with a smile. I smile at her as she walks back to her car and drives off.

She kissed my cheek! I cup my cheek as I felt my blood rushing throughout my cheek. I open the door to see my father sitting on the couch.

"Where were you?" He asks sternly. "A friend's house." I say and walk to the bottom of the stairs. "Who is this friend?!" He asks now standing up and walking to me. I look up at him since he is taller than me. "A friend, her name is Minji." I say and try to walk up the stairs. He grabs my wrist tightly, "Why are you blushing If she is just a friend?!" He says raising his voice. I yank my wrist out from his grip. "I'm not blushing!" I yell at him and pushes me and I fall on the stairs. That's hurt my butt. "Liar! Go to your room!" He yells. "I was trying to before you started yelling at me!" I yell and go to my room.

I slam the door the door shut and lock it. Why is he always like that?! Why can't he just be nice and care for me?! I'm his daughter after all! Whatever.

I close my eyes and slowly drift off into sleep.

"Yoohyeon! Yoohyeon! HELP ME!" I hear a woman yell. I open my eyes to see I'm in a room, a dark room. There is barely any light, the only light that came was from a tiny lightbulb in the middle of the room. I look there to see a girl tied to a chair. Her hair was covering her face as she was moving, trying to free herself from the chair. I run towards her but as I'm running it seems like she keeps getting farther and farther away. I stop and try to catch my breath as I look up at her again, this time she is right in front of me. "YOOHYEON!" She yells and I see the girls face. "MINJI!" I yell as I try to untie her but it was tied too tight. I start to heavy breathe as I'm panicking. What the fuck am I going to do?! "I told you...if I can't have you...no one can!" A deep male voice yells and I hear a scream in my ear. I look to see Minji...lying on the floor, blood surrounding her lifeless body. I fall to my knees and cry. I hear footsteps and look up to see a man in a mask. He grabs my arm and lifts me up. "Bye BYE-" He says and stabs me in my chest. I wake up sweating and breathing unevenly.

I look at the time on my phone to see it's 3:45AM. Who was that man? Why did he hurt my Minji?!

I have to protect her...
