the ravennet placed a hand above his pounding heart, anxiety and anxiousness filling his vision as he tries to calm himself while walking through the hall.

'why am i so nervous? it's not like i'm gonna ask her out.' he thinks to himself, gulping once he stops in front of your class doors.

students are already pouring out as usual, always standing around the hallways before they head home.

alex walks into the classroom, looking around before finally spotting you fixing your things and shoving them into your bag. she looks cute.

trying to calm his nerves, he stiffly walks towards you, resembling a robot.

you notice him and wave after placing the last of your pencils in one of the small pockets in your bag. swinging the bag on your shoulder, you stand and greet him in the middle of his walk.

"h-hey ( y/n )." he stutters, cheeks flushing red in fluster.

"hi alex." you greet.

"a-are you free after school?— i-i mean later, since i-it's after school r-right now." he curses himself by the end of the mess of a sentence he spoke out.

you laugh, "yeah, i'm free. are you taking me out on a date?" the teasing words leave your lips out of habit.

"n-no! IJUSTWANTEDTOHANGOUT''

he bolts out of the classroom before you could agree.

a droplet of sweat drips from your chin as you watch the poor boy run, skilfully avoiding the students who stood in the hall.

you walk towards the doorway to see where he had gone and ask where he wanted to hangout, he hadn't provided you any location. but alas, he was long gone and out of sight.

"why was gogo running?" ben speaks up from beside you.

you flinch in surprise, swearing you hadn't seen him before he just magically appeared. "a-ah, i might have scared him away." you answer.

the big dog gawks at you, "oh..well, anyway, are you free right now?"

"oh, yeah."

"nice! you up for a quick game of pool?"

you laugh once you hear his offer, "so that's where he wanted to take me!"

ben widens his eyes as he connects the dots before bursting out laughing himself aswell. "he actually asked you!? he's grown balls!" he puts an arm on his stomach as he slaps his thighs in the middle of hollering out.

his laughs gain the attention of the students gathered in the hall, but they decide to ignore him, assuming it was one of his usual antics.

after a while he stops, wiping the tears that gathered at the corners of his eyes, "w-wait...ahaha..don't- don't you have a shift at the pool place?"

you freeze and gasp, a hand slapping at your mouth at the realisation, "SHIT, I DO!" you screech and sprint to the exit, knowing full well you were late.

when you arrive at the pool hall, you're scolded by your coworker within seconds.

by the end of the scolding, she seemed dehydrated so you handed her water and she ended up getting even madder. (you didnt understand why)

now, you sat beside her on the counter by the entrance, grumbling to yourself while she peacefully reads a book.
