Dipper POV
We arrive at the shack around midnight. I'm so tired that I just flop into bed. I can't comprehend all that's happened tonight. It's giving me a headache.
What do I do? If Wendy saw me tonight, then how do I explain what I was doing? If I say I was turning down some girl it wouldn't be the truth. She wasn't 'some girl' because I kind of liked her.
"Dipper?" Mabel asks from her bed, looking over at me.
I look up at her, escaping my thoughts. "Yeah?" I reply
"What are you do- wait! Are you crying?" She asks
I hadn't realized it, but I was crying. I felt the tears down my cheeks.
"Oh wow. Yea I guess so. I just don't know what to do. All of this dating drama is mixing with my head. I don't know how to handle it." I say
"I can help if you want me to." Mabel replies. I decide to let her.
"Okay, what should I do?" I ask
"Tomorrow, see if Wendy wants to hang out. I'm pretty sure that, as soon as you see her, you'll feel better."
"And if she asks about the hug? Remember, I think I saw her behind a tree tonight." I say
"If she asks about it then just explain what you said to me, just without the part about you kinda liking Pacifica back." Mabel replies
"Okay, probably a good idea. I'll just meet her downstairs when she comes into work tomorrow." I decide "Thanks, Mabel."
"Anytime, Broseph." She replies "Good night!"
And with that, I was off to sleep.
((Sorry! I'm not sure if this posted after or before chapter 19. It is suppose to be after but my iPhone glitches up! Read them as the titles say the chapters are! Sorry again!))
