Today is the day.

I woke up way too early than the others to train some more.

I should not fail in this Expedition, now that Erwin needs my support.

After taking a long, warm bath after training, I then made my way towards the Gates where all of my comrades are gathering, waiting for another judgment. Even so, I strictly believed in what resolve I made ever since I became one with the Scouting Legion. I must not fail.

"Hey (Y/N)!" I heard a familiar voice called that made me smile and look back, seeing my pony-tailed, bespectacled friend with an excited look on her face, "You ready?" She asked as she approached me while riding her horse.

"Of course," I answered with a smile plastered on my face, Hanji's arm snaking around my neck as she said, "That's our (Y/N)!"

Well, things got better between Hanji and I days ago. It was quite surprising of how she apologized to me, though. The same with Momo-chan.

I'm so thankful that all is fine now.

I won't have any regrets now if ever I died at this Expedition...

"Are you ready?" I asked back as she removed her arm, "Of course! I'm always ready for titans!" She cheerfully responded with a thumbs-up, her eyes were like in pure ecstasy.

"I totally admit that I do have a really strange friend..." I mumbled as I heaved a sigh.

"Today is the day, soldiers of Humanity. The day we've been preparing for: an Expedition. We will..."

"Oh, so Erwin's already here..." I mumbled as we listen to his words before we go behind the Walls, hoping to discover some of our enemies' secrets.

"Hey (Y/N)," I heard someone called me from behind, making me and Hanji look back, seeing Mike approaching us on his horse.

"Hey, Mike."

"Better see you alive after this," He said and stopped near me, looking at my eyes with such determination, "Of course. You too," I responded with a smile. Mike smirked back and together with Hanji, we bumped our fists and then straightened our forms as we three made our ways towards the front lines, where Erwin is. Erwin is about to lead his very first Expedition, of course it is our duty to show him what we got.

"...and remember that outside those walls, extreme cautiousness is necessary, as well as cooperation and teamwork. Believe in your Squad Leaders and teammates."

"(Y/N), come with me," Hanji mumbled all of a sudden as we were about to reach the front lines and pulled my left hand, Mike's hand suddenly grabbing my right one, "No," Mike objected with a glare.

Oh right, I don't have a complete squad yet, and Momo-chan's not coming this Expedition under Sir Shadis's orders, so...
