Night time came fast.

The moon started to lighten up this forsaken world, together with the stars that are shining brightly in the sky and was like, brimming with happiness.

Unfortunately, you aren't feeling the same way.

Who the heck will be happy if your precious friend whom you dearly love suddenly told you that he likes you, too, and then you rejected him out of thinking for his own good sake, which made him hate you?

No one.

You also confirmed that your best friend is indeed in love with that man. You were confused if you were to support her with all your heart and keep your feelings a secret, or choose to be honest to yourself and have no regrets.

Still that in mind, you've been staying inside your office the whole time, doing those pile of papers and making your subordinate submit the finished ones instead of you because he told you so.

Well it can't be helped, you rejected him like he has no meaning to you at all.

Even though he is not.

You know to yourself that you cherished him.

Too much.

Too much that you started to be masochistic, in a different way.

You didn't even know that you are slowly, quietly starting to kill yourself.

It crushed you to death when he told you not to be a part of his life anymore.

But there's nothing you can do.

You know Erwin. He's a way ahead of his decisions.

You know his orders and decisions are absolute.

"So it's already this late," You muttered to yourself as you looked at the clock. Few more minutes and that day has come.

You stood up from your seat and groaned a bit after sitting for hours. You carefully moved, too, now that Erwin got your wrist injured.

"Maybe I should go submit these papers, even just for now," You told yourself as you tucked your chair down your desk. A sudden knock then can be heard on the other side of your door, shocking you a bit.

"M'lady? It's me, Momoe. Are you done with the last paperwork?" She asked as you walk towards the door to open it. Momoe gave you a worried look out of your depressed appearance as you open your door, making you give her a slight smile.

"Well... I'm almost done with it. But it's already late so I'll let you submit those tomorrow. You get some rest. Good work today," You lied, "Oh. Okay, m'lady. I'll get going now, then. Please rest. Finish it tomorrow," Bowing a little, your subordinate looked at your bandaged wrist and gave it a look of remorse as she walked away from your room. You then closed the door and leaned on it with your eyes closed and arms crossed.

To be honest, you've finished working on every paper piled on your table, you just lied because you want to give the papers yourself to the Commander, even though he doesn't want to see you. You don't know why yourself, but seeing Erwin is like, your top priority for now.
