I am currently doing my everyday routine, which is an early training.

Yeah, my life sounds boring, right?

Well, I better keep my ability sharp and do something really crucial.

"Hey (Y/N)!" I heard a familiar feminine voice called.

I don't want to hunt titans this early, though.

"Why are you up so early, Hanji?" I asked, not turning back to face her, "Am I forbidden to be up this early?" She retorted, seeing her pout after, "Well, I guess not, but it's not the usual you."

"Oh well, never mind that. Do you want to—"

"No."

"Wai—"

"No."

"Wha—"

"No."

"(Y/N)!"

"Just kidding Hanji. Well, what is it?"

"Umm... I just want to know if you're free tonight," She asked, twirling her forefingers.

"Hmm... Let me think..."

Meeting with the Commander with Erwin at 10:00 AM, finishing some of the Commander's paperwork after our meeting, which may last for 5 hours, so it should be finished by 3:00 PM, training with them after that, then I'm free to do what I want to.

"I guess I can give you a slot for your plan."

"Yay~ I love you so much (Y/N)!" She beamed as she hugged me tightly.

"H-Hanji... C-can't b-b-breathe..."

"Oh! Sorry. You just don't know how much you made me happy!"

"That's good to hear. Okay, so what are you planning to do, then?"

"Uh...well, you see, our next expedition is coming, and you also know we can't predict the future, so I decided to get all of us a...you know...bonding day."

"That's a great idea, Hanji!" I said, smiling widely, "Are you crazy? We're doing that every time before we go outside the Walls. Why ask now?" I nonchalantly told her, shooting the grappling hooks, "W-wait, (Y/N)!" Hanji grabbed my arm as I was about to train with my Maneuver Gear, seeing her down expression; her hand was quite trembling too, "You crazy scientist..." I trailed, then held her in my arms delicately, "...no one will get killed. Trust me. This won't be our last meeting."

"(Y-Y/N)..." Hanji said, tears forming up to her now gloomy eyes, "Hanji..." I smiled, soothing her with soft pats on her back, "I know we can't predict the future, but we can only do one thing, and that is to hope what lies ahead will be a bright future everyone desperately craved for," I said as enthusiastic as I can, removing the now flowing tears out of her cheeks, "You're right, (Y/N). Well, there's no time to be gloomy, right?"

I nodded as a response and patted her head lightly, both of us smiling, "Okay, so here's the plan. After all our responsibilities were done, both of us will meet in front of the headquarters, and then buy good dresses that'll fit us just fine! My God, (Y/N)! I'm so pumped up!"
