"... Kusuo.. Wake...."
I'm hearing a voice.. calling me.. They seem familiar. Have I heard of them somewhere? Maybe on tv or something.
"[Awaken The Soul].", a quiet yet melodic voice echoed, and the black vision I had slowly collapsed. Revealing a sky full of stars and colors of the galaxy.
I could see faintly, circles of what I can deem as planets, as stars crossed over them. It was so enchanting, I wish to hold it in my palm.
And I did. Blue and purple wisps gathered in my palm, with twinkling dots scattered like glitter on paper. My eyes marveled at the piece of space within my hand, seeing as some flowed down my hand yet still remained consistent.
"Kusuo.", a hand reached for my own, however stopped just in front of mine. I looked up and saw a boy wrapped in black, doe eyes in the color of shiny sapphires and maroon hair.
I realized who this was, and took his hand. "Ravyn. Hello to you too.", I chuckled lightly as he hoisted me up. Strangely, he didn't struggle one bit for a god his size.
Oh. Yes.. Forgot he was a god for a second..
"Mhm. I am glad to see you doing good and using my blessing.", I hummed. He stood in silence, looking at the sky we walked on.
"I have never seen such sky before. Your mind is truly beautiful.", Me? Beautiful? That's.. strange to put together.
"My mind? I'm sure you mean Wynn's.", as I spoke I touched a star. It trembled slightly, before falling from its place. I watched it fall before it shattered with a spark.
"I'm sure this is your mind. If it was Wynn's I wouldn't be talking to you, am I? Not to mention, you touched it didn't you.", he said, turning to face me.
He raised his hands and attempted to touch something. However not only did the star seem far away, but his hands passed right through the ones close to him.
"Outsiders aren't able to touch the creation of one's mind. That's the uniqueness of the mind.", I blankly looked at him. He looks.. adorable smiling so cutely.
"You're adorable when you smile. And you didn't stutter!", as I finished he flushed bright red, rivaling his maroon hair.
"T-That was be-before you mentioned it!!", I cooed at his cuteness while he tried to reason. He was just so cute!! This boy! I might even adopt him if it weren't for his bloody status.
"Ah! Ianira has j-just contacted me.. Kusuo.. P-Please wake up now...", his fingers grasped my hand, and abruptly I felt myself being pushed back. i couldn't utter even a gasp before waking up with a start.
I looked around me, seeing flowers of various colors dancing through the winds. The sky was still dark though, and the air smelt wet and earthy. It probably stopped raining a few minutes ago.
Strangely however was me being completely dry aside from my lashes. I looked down, feeling something hard instead of dirt. I saw a translucent blue floor though, and by curiosity I looked up.
Above me was a transparent, gleaming blue shield, and below me was the translucent blue surface of crystals. Must be a skill I left open.
Speaking of skills, I opened my stats and my eyes bulged slightly, a grin crawling on my face.
MY STATS ARE ALL AT FULL!!! HP, STAMINA AND MANA!! WOOOOOO!!!
"I can leave.", I spoke unconsciously while my hands tightened into fists. I whooped in joy, almost slipping from the smooth crystal surface.
But then I remembered where I was. I looked around once again, seeing behind the flower field an ominous forest with red mist.
"... I'm not going to leave so soon..", my voice became lower, as my hope shattered.
With the monster somewhere in the forest, waiting for me to step inside it. I'll be walking into my own doom!
But if I stay here, who knows when it'll decide to show up and pounce on me?? It was only a coincidence that rain started and burned it. And if I do manage to cast skills, it's only a matter of time before I run out of mana and stamina.
I looked at the forest, flashes of yellow appearing every few moments. It's not like I can wait and see what'll happen.
I took a deep breath, looking straight at the forest.
Here it goes...
Walking through the gloomy forest, blue lifeless eyes glanced around. Behind her were three people, Tristan, Linda and Damian.
They were exhausted. When they found Tristan, he had barely survived an attack from the creature they were looking for, the Wilderbeast.
However, this unknown girl had paralyzed it and pushed it away. Tristan was conscious and that was great. But with how much damage he took Damian was left fatigued after healing him to the best of his ability.
Tristan was mumbling about saving someone, and that greatly worried them. Tristan is the type to only save those who are close to him, and the only one not present is Wynn.
Linda had tried finding his location with the help of the wind, but she couldn't find him. Not his scent, not his voice and anything. But she heard something else. Something that laughed at her attempt, its voice creepy and chilling she quickly cut off the link. It was taunting her.
The girl, who Linda found seems to be a local of this forest. She could be one of the villagers they saw trekking through the forest with them on the way here.
But that didn't matter now.
What matters is that she knows where Wynn's whereabouts is.
The villager was suspicious, yet they couldn't care anymore. Wynn was in danger.
That was all they cared about.
Subtly, one of the girl's eyes flashed black. Her ears twitched slightly before her lips curved into a sinister smile.
Oh, what fun.
'Your sacrifice shall prove to be a great role in capturing that mana user.'
'Ahh... I can't wait to gift him to my lord~'
