"Romi. Have coffee."
"Bhabhi. What was the need of all this? Aap faltu pareshan ho rahe ho."
"Accha!! Jab raat raat ko utha ke filter coffee banwate the tab yaad nahi aaya pareshaan karne ka?" Ishita smacked Romi head making him grin. He scratched his head sheepishly and sipped the filter coffee, after so long his taste buds satiated with the world's best filter coffee prepared by his bhabhi. Ishita prepared another cup for herself and started enjoying it along with Romi, Raman still hasn't come inside and she didn't bother to call him. She knew the equations shared by brothers are still bitter and she is not in a mental condition to sort it right away.
"Bhabhi you know we are buying a new apartment in Hauz Khas."
"Really!! That's wonderful. Have you finalised the apartment yet?"
"We are still hunting but yes we are planning to buy an apartment in a good society with all the amenities."
"I am so happy for you Romi, you have grown up so soon." Ishita caressed Romi's head, her eyes well up with admiration, how far he has come up. From a carefree teenager to a responsible family man, he has come up a long way.
"I didn't want to grow up so soon Bhabhi but time has other stories."
"Leave those things, you have made the right choices but at the wrong time." Romi nodded his head in affirmation knowing it was the wrong time to scratch the old wounds. "You're happy today and that's what I wished for you Romi."
"Are you happy with Bhai? Bhabhi are you living with bhai without your will?"
"No no absolutely not Romi. You're brother is not a bad person, when we started it we weren't prepared for it but all these months made us realise each other's value. All these years we were blinded in our egos and never prioritised our marriage. We came together for Roohi and we found each other.
I am very happy today and it's genuine this time."
"Hahh!!!!!" Romi acted dramatically before hugging his bhabhi tightly. Ishita patted Romi back and they shared a good laugh together enjoying their filter coffee. They stepped back in the room and their eyes popped out with a surprise finding little Roohi sitting on her father's lap and applying talcum powder on his face.
"What are you doing Shona?"
"We are playing salon salon Mumma. I am doing Papa's makeup for his award function and Simmi Bua is my assistant." Roohi replied in a serious tone busy clipping her father's hair with various plastic clips. Ishita burst into laughter enjoying her husband face smeared with white talcum powder, he was resembling like a witch.
"Roo tumne toh Ravan Kumar ko Pinky Kumar bana diya." Ishita rolled over the floor laughing uncontrollably on Raman. Raman passed a death glare to Simmi and Ishita who were laughing at his expense. Romi was no less, he too joined his sister and Bhabhi who were laughing at his brother miseries.
