"Mumma stop bothering me."
"Kya hai Raman. Aise kyon kar raha hai."
"Main nahi aap kar rahe ho Maa, main nahi bandhwane wala rakhi kisi se bhi."
"Are par......"
"Nahi...main ja raha hoon. Poori duniya ka bhai banne ka mujhe koi shoquk nahi hai."
Raman chuckled on himself looking at his wife through the window, she asked him to stop the car nearby vendor to purchase the earrings. He rested his chin on his hands adoring his wife who was trying different earrings, the sparkle in her eyes cannot be missed. She has all exquisite jewels with her yet she finds her happiness in cheap jwellery. As he started to know her more, he understands she was never a fond of money or luxury. Through all her life she yearned for small moments which can give her happiness. He doesn't remember if he ever accompanied her for such shoppings or appreciated her for her choices but even he has started to live and love recently. The pain and struggles she bore throughout her life are nothing infront of the hardships she faced, he is still unable to understand how Ishita managed to hide her pain every time and lived normally like nothing had happened but maybe that's what strong woman is called.
The feminine energy are superior, until he heard but he can feel so as he started to know more about her.
"Hey! How about these earrings? I bought this cute necklace for Roo."
"Good." Raman replied with smile, adoring her cheerful face.
"The bill is 400." She signalled him to pass his wallet which he obliged happily. He chuckled at her retreating figure and wondered if she is the same woman who was crying and depressed over her past an hour back? She inspires him everyday, making him proud on her. Ishita sat back and kept the stuffs on the backseat, as she tied the seatbelt around he raced the car and they zoomed towards their destination. The soothing wind caressed her face, she rested her elbow against the window looking at the sunset.
"Tired?" He tangled their fingers continued to drive the car.
"No. Infact I feel unburden." She sighed looking at him. He stopped the car near the roadside tea stall. "You remember this place?" She narrowed her brows for a few seconds before a smile came on her lips and she couldn't help stopping herself from smiling.
"We used to come here for coffee when we were engaged."
"Yes." He replied looking at her, the dusk appeared before than usual time. He wrapped her in shawl as they leaned against the bonnet and started to sip the tea in kulhad (earthenware cup).
"God!! The winds are bone chilling." Raman murmured holding the cup in both hands.
"Yes and this winter with a steaming cup of tea is an amazing combination." Ishita replied leaning on her husband shoulder.
