Transformers Oneshots(Requests Closed)

(Unicron Trilogy "Hotshot overhears Hoist telling Blurr that the kids told him that dreams have meaning, and he remembers one he had a while ago, one that's burned into his memory" This is angsty and was both a pain and joy to write.)

 "Hey, that reminds me the kids say dreams have meaning." Hoist says.

"Huh never heard that before." Blurr exclaims with, like usual, nothing but dull surprise.

"Huh." Hotshot thinks, overhearing the conversation. A dream he had a while ago playing in the back of his mind as he hears the fact. A dream he can't forget. A dream he still questions to this day.

Hotshot is sitting on the ground at the Autobot base on Cybertron. He's alone in the room. He can slightly hear noises from the other Autobots. Not a lot but enough for him to know he isn't completely alone in the base.

He's not paying attention as he stares at the floor beneath, but he senses as someone else enters the room. He looks up his blue optics landing on Megatron. Strangely enough, he doesn't react. He just continues to sit there on the metal floor. Returning his gaze back to the metallic floor beneath them.

Megatron walks closer to him, "Do you know what happened to Wheeljack?" He asks, acting as if he didn't mean it to be smugly. Trying to hide a smirk.

This is what gets Hotshot's attention, jerking his head up to look at Megatron. Confusion and shock written all over his faceplate. Thinking he must have misheard. He couldn't have said that actually..... right? I must've misheard it. He... Couldn't have said that. Getting less and less sure that he misheard by the second.

"I've just been wondering where he is. After all, I haven't seen him in a while." He continues as he starts to walk around him. His words sink into Hotshot, the words starting to tear into his spark as he begins to tear up.

"It was a while ago since I last saw him. It just.... doesn't feel the same since he's been gone. Don't you agree?" He asks, getting more and more smug and proud by the minute. Stalking around him like a predator circling the cornered prey.

Hotshot's tears keep coming and he starts to sob as Megatron gets slowly closer. He begins to tremble from his position on the floor. A smirk spreads across Megatron's faceplate, satisfied with his job, but he wanted more fuel for this essential sadistic ego trip.

"It's all your fault." He says, looking down at the shaking yellow Autobot with a wide smirk, " You should've known better than to leave him alone like that. And... Now, look at that he's gone and it's all because of you." His voice tinted with cruel venom.

Hotshot's servos are trying to block out his words as the tears continue to stream down his faceplate. His sobs get more desperate and louder with those words. A wordless beg for someone to end the words and to get him out of here, to put an end to this, for Megatron to stop! Just anything, anything, ANYTHING to make it stop!

Megatron doesn't listen though he just continues taunting him. Getting a sick, twisted sadistic joy out of the younger bot's distress. Hotshot continues to try and try to block out his stinging words, but his words won't escape his mind that it's his fault Wheeljack is gone. That he should've known better!

Then he gets his desire and the words do get blocked out because he wakes up. He's shocked and taken aback by the dream. He notices that one of his optics is slightly wet and feels a singular tear roll down his faceplate as he tries to wrap his mind around the dream.

The words dream Megatron said swirled in his mind as he wonders: What is Primus trying to tell me?
