Freya could practically have her ear chopped off from the amount of chatter roaming around her home about the marriage.

She would scoff and sneer every time she would hear about it. She didn't like it and was angry at her brother for agreeing. She would have fought for it, and that's when she saw Tubbo rush to Wilbur about the burnt fields of wheat that would not grow back because of the TNT residue that Dream's attack left.

She couldn't help but look around and notice the still-destroyed home, holes in the ground, and the injuries on the arms and faces of the others. So, despite the annoyance and knowledge that it would be hell for her, she didn't fight. Well, verbally that is.

She could never risk their country for a fight when she knew how vulnerable everyone was. Even the animals seemed to have realized that the country was not a place to be. There wasn't much around, so they lived off potatoes. Not that she minded, she remembered the days her father would leave her and her brother with an old family friend.

A knock was heard making her jump slightly. She turned her head just as the door opened. "Hey, you ready?" Niki asked. Niki was the first female inhabitant (aside from her of course) in L'Manberg. The two girls had become close especially when they both saw how reckless the boys could be.

The pink-haired girl had a soft spot for her and her nephew, Fundy. The three would be the ones to brew potions and make them food. It was tiresome but they bonded over taking care of the others.

Niki reached her, pulling her red hair from her shoulders and grabbing the brush from her vanity. "You seem lost in your head." She stated the obvious.

Freya looked at her through the mirror and raised an eyebrow at her friend. Niki chuckled sadly as she brushed her bright red hair.

The hair color always confused others. But once they realize why she had the color, it either amazed or scared them. It wasn't a story the siblings like to tell.

"I know you don't like it-" "How would you feel if your family sold you to marry someone you don't know?" Freya cut her good friend off. Niki cringed at the tone but she had a point.

She wouldn't be too ecstatic to be married off to the enemy as well. But she just shrugged, "The papers are signed. You are to be wed." she said defeatedly.

"Do I not have a say in this anymore?" Freya asked as she turned to face Niki. The pink haired baker smiled sadly, "Legally, no." "Fuck legality." The redhead argued.

Niki sighed and kneeled down in front of her, "I'm sorry I can't do anything." She admitted to guilt. Freya sighed and shook her head, "You don't have to apologize. You weren't the one to agree to it." She explained.

The baker was about to say something when someone knocked again. "Who is it?" Freya called out as she turned to the mirror of her vanity again. "Wilbur says to finish up. The green man is near!"

After that statement, they heard running which made the girls share a look. Despite the situation, Freya couldn't help but smirk at her friend.

"You can still scare the shit out of Tommy though," Niki said with a lighthearted chuckle. Freya shrugged, "It's a talent."
