Once Sapnap brought the boat back to the shore, Freya was filled with joy. He helped her off the boat, Gimly back on her shoulder.
She grinned at him, "Thank you so much for this Sapnap." She said softly. Sapnap chuckled and nodded, "Of course. You were the one that made it seem exciting to come back here so..."
He helped her out of the boat, Gimly jumping to the ground, staring at the forest. Freya turned to the frog and narrowed her eyes, "Gimly?" she asked.
Sapnap turned to them, "It's okay. Just grab him-" The bush rustled and instinctively summoned its powers. The red hues and the flames light the surroundings.
The light from the lanterns disappears as they get blown away by the wind. Gimly croaked when a shadow walked out. In an instant, Sapnap knew who it was.
"Freya-" "Thank goodness I found you Frey." A familiar voice said making Freya frown. "Tommy?" The young boy walked out of the shadows with his hands in the air.
"I come in peace." He said making the two distinguish their powers. "What- Tommy what are you doing here?" he asked. He gulped and glanced at Sapnap as he walked closer to his adoptive sister.
"We need you back Freya." He said. But she shook her head which caught the boy off guard. He was told that she didn't like Sapnap's company and that she was forced to be with him.
But here she was now, saying no already. "Freya-" "I don't want to come back." She cut him off. Tommy glared at Sapnap, "He took you away from us-" "I left." She argued.
A flash of hurt appeared in Tommy's eyes and he sighed, "L'Manberg needs you." "L'Manberg can grow without me." She said as he inched closer to Sapnap who was doing the same to her.
Tommy and Freya stared at each other; it was clear to the blonde that she didn't want to come with him. So, he pulled out the big guns, "Wilbur's hurt Freya. He needs us. He needs you."
And just like that, Freya knew she had to come back. That despite her heart yearning to stay with Sapnap, to meet his fathers with him, she turned to Sapnap and frowned. "I-" "I know. It's fine. I'll be here." He said softly.
Freya smiled sadly and thanked him one last time before walking with Tommy leaving Sapnap to watch the siblings and Gimly jumping after them.
