Freya carefully closed the door, trying to be as quiet as possible. She pulled her hood up as she ran through the wheat field of L'Manberg.

Once she reached the few slabs that were once walls, she jumped over them and ran through the woods. If her brother or friends found out about this, she would surely be scolded but she didn't care.

All she cared was to reach the same field that led to one of her favorite places.

Once she was far away from her home, she walked calmly, humming to a familiar tune that Sapnap's fathers was humming on the few times they hosted dinner for the pair.

A few minutes of walking passed until she finally heard the ruckus and loud commotion of the same old place that wormed its way into her heart.

She smiled and walked to the pub, pushing the door open before pushing her hood back down. "Oh! Freya! A bit late don't you think?" Quackity at the bar said.

The redhead chuckled but nodded as she sat on one of the bar tools. "Yeah. I just couldn't sleep." She admitted as she was passed a glass of liquor.

A now familiar chuckle sounded from behind Big Q. The two turned to see a fluffy haired, spiral hoodie wearing young man was stood. "Cold feet?" he asked as he neared her.

Freya shrugged, "I wouldn't know. I haven't been married before." She said with a laugh. Quackity snickered, "You were to be married. You ran away remember?" he teased the girl.

She rolled her eyes but laughed when his fiancé hit his head, "Stop teasing the poor girl. Come here Frey, I have a secret for you."

She leaned closer to the man who giggled, "Having cold feet just means you actually care for the guy you're about to marry." "Does that mean you had cold feet as well Karl?" she asked.

Quackity laughed, "Of course he did!" he said boastfully. Karl rolled his eyes, "I am debating it now." "What?! Why?"

The fiances bantered about making Freya laugh. It was quite normal for her now. Especially after meeting Karl, she realized how much the two complimented each other.

But there she was now, drinking some alcohol, in a bar filled with different kinds of people. On the night before her wedding.

She was humming the same tune when the chair beside her moved, "Care to have company maam?" Freya couldn't help but smirk into her drink. "I don't know. I don't think my fiancé would like the idea of me sharing the whole bar with another guy." She teased.

"Sounds like a dick." "Nah. Just gets jealous easily." She continued to tease. "Now that just isn't true love."

Freya snickered, "Sap you almost burned Techno's arm off because you didn't know he was family friend." She said. The statement made Sapnap shiver, "I will never forget the Blade's face- anyway, what do I owe the pleasure of meeting the most gorgeous woman the night before our wedding?" he asked.

The redhead smiled as a tint of blush appeared on her cheeks, "Is it bad I miss you?" she asked. Sapnap laughed and chugged the rest of her drink, "Nope."

He stood up and offered his hand. Freya chuckled and accepted his hand. Sapnap dropping the money and tip for Quackity before saying his good byes.

The two walked on the path once more. The light from the night sky was enough for them to see the path clearly.

Despite the nice and relaxing silence, Sapnap sighed, "You're brother is so going to kill me." He muttered.

Freya laughed and shook her head. She climbed on top of some rocks, Sapnap following after her.

She sat on top of a boulder with him right beside her. She looked at the sky and sighed in relief, "No he won't. He actually likes you." She whispered.

Sapnap hummed and kissed her head when she rested it on his shoulder. Looping their arms together, "We're going to get married tomorrow." Sapnap said.

Freya chuckled and rested her chin on his shoulder so she could look at him, "I know." she said. Sapnap smiled, "You won't run away this time?" he joked.

She gasped and pushed him slighty, "You ran away too!" the two shared a laugh, something they have been doing a lot recently.

They stared at each other until Sapnap rested his forehead on top of hers. "Even if you do runaway, I'd still love you."

Freya hummed and nodded, "Don't worry. I don't plan on running away this time."

And like every other night, it was sealed with a kiss just before Sapnap brings her home. But this time, he knew it will be the last time. Because tomorrow, they would go and find their own new home. For themselves and their little sparking chaos inside her.
