Sapnap didn't know what happened, he barely knew anything about what was being told to Freya. All he knew was that he was on his way home after visiting his fathers.

His visit was quite a surprise for the fathers when they saw their sons for the first time in a long time. They both engulfed him in a hug. Questions poured out of them; where he had been, what he had been doing, whom he was staying with, why he didn't come back.

The worry and relief in their eyes were real. Seeing their once little boy now grown up, was a miracle for them.

The blaze stayed with them until his fathers pushed him to go back to his friends. He could not understand why but as they said, "We can see it son. The way you talk about her." "We can't help you get her back, but maybe your friends will."

This was why he was back, welcomed by the servants and people of the SMP, he walked to the base with Punz, an old bee-addicted friend stood. "You came back." He said sarcastically.

"Don't sound too excited." He muttered. Before the blonde could say anything, someone cleared their throat. The two turned only to see the mask wearing leader of their country. Punz excused himself as Sapnap lowered his head.

The young man listened to his best friend's footsteps. He was worried he wouldn't be welcomed anymore, despite running away, he was his best friend.

A sigh escaped the tall blonde before he placed a hand on Sapnap's shoulder. "Where have you been?"

Sapnap didn't have to answer. He just looked at Dream who tilted his head, "How are they?" Clearly pertaining to his dads but that was the last thing on the brunette's mind.

"Dream-" "I'm sorry for pushing you to marry some stranger. I should have asked if you would be okay with it." Dream cut him off.

But what shocked the blonde was the shake of Sapnap's head. "Dream, I need your help."

George was confused and yet relieved when Dream walked into their meeting room with Sapnap in tow. He didn't have the chance to ask where he had been because of the bombshell he said.

"Sapnap, the agreement is off." Dream said as he pinched the bridge of his nose. Sapnap sighed, "I guessed so but you don't understand." He argued.

"Then please enlighten me." The blonde said with a sigh. After what had happened, the two running away, Wilbur was quick to point the blame towards Dream and George, saying it was a plot to get in L'Manberg.

Dream sighed and looked at him with a serious look, "He accused us of using them. Saying it was nothing but a plan to attack inside them. Sapnap, they told us that the war was on."

Sapnap's jaw dropped, "What?" "Are you deaf?" George asked with a roll of his eyes. Dream groaned, "Sapnap whatever your decision is about running away really screwed us over." He said annoyed.

"I didn't mean to-" "Then what did you mean?" Dream cut him off. "I didn't mean to run away. I just didn't want to start a life with someone I barely knew." He explained.

George frowned, "You could have told us." He said. Sapnap shook his head, "I did. But you never did listen to me. Not once." He argued. Dream sighed in regret, "I did. But we needed it-" "But I needed my friends to at least listen to me." Sapnap cut him off.

The youngest of the group shook his head, "Have you ever asked what I have been doing? Or who I was with?" he asked with a scoff. George was about to say something when Sapnap spoke again.

"I had the best of times with one of the most genuine and talented people I have met in a while. And not only that, I have spent the best hours with the same person that I was running away from."

And just like that, in Dream and George's eyes, they realized what happened during the time that Sapnap was missing.

"You were with Freya?" George asked. Sapnap sighed but nodded, "Yeah." Dream sighed, "You ran away only to spend time with Freya-" "No. I didn't mean to go with her. It just happened and yeah." He cut her off.

Dream raised an eyebrow at him, "But you enjoyed being with her." he said. Sapnap nodded, "I did." George walked to him, "This is a problem Sap." He said.

"What do you mean?" Sapnap asked confused. "It means, Wilbur will not let you near her." "And by now, he would have brainwashed her to never trust you ever." George and Dream explained.

This broke his heart. He shook his head, he didn't want to believe it. Not like this, Freya wouldn't, would she?
