"hope i'm not interrupting anything," lo'ak moved his way in between talia and tsavo. the other boy was slightly intimidated by toruk makto's sons, so he shook his head right away, "nah, just saying bye." then he waved and walked away.

lo'ak smirked as he successfully ran off the guy he thought was making heart eyes at his girl, "does he keep bothering you, tal?" his voice held more sincerity rather this time.

"no, he's not." she sighed, not wanting to deal with his jealousy right this minute. her mind and body were both tired, only wanting to eat her food then get some rest.

sensing her unamused tone, lo'ak steered clear of any teasing. "how was training today?" she shrugged, "good, but i'm pretty tired."

he nodded along, "um, can we talk? but if you're too tired that's fine, i get it." he had something he wanted to get off his chest, since he never properly apologized to her last week.

talia sent a half smile, "it's okay, let's talk then." this made lo'ak smile in return as he motioned her to follow him. he led her towards the village garden, one that she hadn't fully explored yet.

the abundance of colorful flowers and lengthy plants had the avatar girl in awe, the beauty was unparalleled.

as they walked side by side in the garden, talia felt the sudden loss of lo'ak alongside her. she turned around and noticed he fidgeting with something in his pouch, a nervous look on his features.

"lo, what are you doing?" she called out for him, his head snapping up to hers. his face turned a shade of red as she did so, slightly jogging to catch up to her.

"i never fully apologized for everything that happened last week.." he cleared his throat before continuing, "and i'm not exactly good with words, so i made this for you."

lo'ak held out a delicate necklace made of flowers, ones that looked similar to their surroundings. talia held her mouth agape, shock didn't even begin to cover how she felt. as she held her hands out when lo'ak handed it over, she felt a lump in her throat from his gesture.

"oh, lo'ak, it's beautiful!" she gasped. lo'ak then had an idea, taking the necklace back and going to stand behind her. "let me," he said as he started tying the necklace from the back of her neck.

talia pressed onto the necklace with the forefront of her fingers while he did so. she couldn't wipe the forming smile as she thought about lo'ak taking the time to make the jewelry for her.

once he finished tying it, lo'ak pressed a gentle kiss to the spot where the necklace met her neck. he felt her shiver under his touch, their spark still strong and fervid.

"lo'ak.." she whispered, turning around to face him. she gazed up to him through her lashes, wanting nothing more than to kiss him right now. and he could see it in her eyes, how she silently begged for him. but he still needed her to know what's been on his mind lately.

"i'm going to be better, tal. for you, for us. i can't lose you so.. i'm going to do whatever it takes to keep us together." he gulped, the moment of vulnerability making him sweat a little.

talia kept her smile while she placed her hands on his neck, "thank you, i appreciate it," she let out a sigh before biting her bottom lip, "i just wish there was a way i could thank you for the necklace."

lo'ak widened his eyes before pretending to think, "lucky for you, i do have one thing in mind."

the two shared a similar smirk before meeting each other into a kiss, talia's keeping her grip on him behind her neck. lo'ak let his hands venture around her waist, pulling her in closer to himself.
