talia turned to lo'ak who was busy talking to his sister, "tuk come on!"

"but i want to stay home!" she argued with her arms crossed. lo'ak put his hands on his hips, "i'm not asking again."

"fine, but i'm walking with talia. you're too mean!" she stuck her tongue out at lo'ak then ran to the avatar girl and held onto her hand. "rum before he catches us! lo'ak is the monster!"

talia caught on to the game tuk wanted to play, taking her hand and running out of the tent with her. lo'ak rolled his eyes before pretending to chase the two, hearing tuk's squeal as he caught up to them.

"faster talia!" tuk screamed as she held onto her hand, her head swiveling from looking behind her to her front.

the two girls ran through the village, dodging other people and random items on the ground. but after a few more minutes, lo'ak 'caught' them and picked up his sister. she shrieked when he did so but when he lifted her up in the air, she started laughing instead.

talia smiled as she watched them interact, certain butterflies erupting within her while seeing him be so good with his sister.

finally putting tuk down, lo'ak caught his breath and turned to talia, "we're almost there."

they walked the short distance to their destination, tuk skipping in front of the pair. once they arrived, three other little girls and two boys bolted towards them. the screaming kids bombarded the teens and made talia widen her eyes.

lo'ak smirked as he saw her reaction, already the kids were acting just as he described.

there were two na'vi women in the tent, most likely aunts to some of the kids, and they welcomed the teens.

"thank eywa you're here, we needed a break an hour ago!" the one woman exclaimed.

"wait, you're leaving? we were just dropping tuk off." lo'ak replied with confusion laced in his voice.

the two women glanced to each other and started laughing, "good luck!" was all they said before bowing out quickly.

the boy scoffed, "fuck." unfortunately, tuk who loves to copycat, heard her brother swear.

tuk jumped up and down yelling, "fuck!" which made lo'ak and talia's hearts drop. the word spread like wildfire as the rest of the kids caught on, "fuck! fuck! fuck!" was the only thing heard from them.

sensing his frustration, talia decided to step in. although her lo'ak may not totally appreciate her new idea, it was a distraction from their current problem.

"who wants to chase lo'ak?" she asked the kids who all stopped their shouting once she spoke. one of the boys replied. "that doesn't sound fun."

thinking again, she answered back, "well, it's fun if lo'ak is a scary monster we have to catch. the winner gets a really cool prize, okay?"

again the kids were all jumping with excitement after hearing about a prize, making lo'ak release a heavy sigh. "really? chase me?" he gave an exasperated look.

talia grinned back, "yep! better get running, lo."

"yeah! run lo'ak!" tuk shouted which once again, made the other kids join in with her.
