lo'ak went flying on the ground from not seeing the act of aggression coming, both talia and ixana screaming from the impact. spider jumped on lo'ak again and tried to throw another punch, but was tackled by a new body. it was neteyam who had seen the commotion from a distance and came sprinting over.

"spider, stop!" talia called out as he struggled against the eight foot tall na'vi.

"what the hell man!" lo'ak sat up now while rubbing the side of his jaw where he was hit.

but spider didn't back down, "i told you what would happen if you fucked up, bro. this is me keeping my promise of beating your ass." then he lunged forward again but missed as lo'ak dodged and neteyam pushed him back down.

talia held a hand over her mouth as she watched everything unfold, a sick feeling settling in her stomach. ixana stood by her side who once held a similar shocked expression but it quickly faded into amusement.

lo'ak hadn't responded to spiders words, instead letting them sink in. he knew he had every right to fight him, knowing spider saw talia as his sister. unfortunately he wasn't sure how much he could share about his situation with ixana now that the manipulative girl was growing more and more suspicious everyday of his relations with talia. and with her serious threats hanging over his head, lo'ak knew he couldn't chance talia's life on anything.

"are you gonna even say anything bro? cmon! don't be a pussy!" spider shouted as he was still fuming. neteyam tried to tell lo'ak to just walk away, but he ignored him.

ixana decided it was time for her to speak up, "because he's in love with me, human. talia isn't someone who can be loved and i am, end of story."

neteyam and lo'ak seethed at the girls words. but before they could lash out, spider asked, "who the fuck are you?" and he refocused his attention to ixana, in his blinding rage he hadn't even seen her there to begin with.

talia spoke, "spider, please drop it. let's just go." but he shook his head, "no way, we're getting answers right now."

lo'ak finally replied, "tal's right, just drop it okay? i get you're mad but-"

"-no! you disgust me, lo'ak. of all the people, i never thought of you to be someone like this. i trusted you to be with my sister! and you're out here kissing someone else," he broke out of neteyam's grasp, "fuck you."

the air was thick was tension as spider ranted and let out his anger on lo'ak. his shoulders seemed to lower as he was slowing his temper, then turned and walked to talia. he grabbed her hand and pulled her to walk away with him, not wanting his 'sister' to be around lo'ak any longer.

"spider, stop," talia told him as they neared their shared tent but he didn't listen, "stop!" she shouted louder and that time he finally listened.

"what?" his voice was gruff from yelling not so long ago. his brows were still pulled together which held his same annoyed and frustrated look.

"he's not cheating on me," she breathed out with a saddened expression, "ixana is forcing him to be with her. she's.. not a good person."

spider scrunched his face with disbelief, "wait- what?"

talia sighed, "i can't share anymore than that. but lo'ak hasn't done anything wrong, i promise. i would've explained that if you didn't run off and punch him right away."
