I left the twins to go with June to see Asia. I've been waiting to see my grandbaby. I know he is excited right now. He hasn't done right in his love life, but he is one hell of a father. Those kids mean the world to him, even Keith.
"When I spoke to the twins earlier, they wanted to know if you would still allow LaysChip to see the kids?"
We are on the elevator headed to the ninth floor, the NICU. Aiden and Link are still here with us. I know they are all just trying to see if the baby has any hair. Nya almost looked like a boy from a side profile. You only knew it was a girl when she was facing you and had those deep brown eyes open. It's been a running joke that if Lay had children they would have lots of hair and Purple Kesh would have a fit. It's just a joke but more than likely she'll be upset about some petty shit. June wouldn't have to handle it then, I don't play about my grands.
"Of course I would still let her see them. Keith would run away from home trying to find her if I didn't. And Nya will be trying to take her ass out the door behind him. They love Lay and she loves them. Just because we are not together does not mean things have to change with them."
"I'm glad you feel that way. That's something that will help her move on."
The doors open and Tiff is standing in the lobby. We walk over and like always my little girls run into my arms.
"Hey Pops. I missed you this morning. You slept in late? Are you okay?"
"I'm good. I didn't make it home until early this morning so I slept in until your niece came jumping in my bed."
"I thought they were staying at the hotel Kenny?"
"They were until Grandpa and Nana wanted to treat them out for the day. They were supposed to go to the trampoline park."
"They went but it was packed so, your grandma told them they could swim instead. When I left, Nya's bad ass fell out in the middle of the floor crying about how she was supposed to see her baby."
He starts laughing and pulls his phone out, sending a text.
"I told her that she may not be able to see her today. I just sent Grandpa a message letting him know that it won't be today. When Lay gets home I'll have them to bring them by so they can spend some time with her. They would all like that."
"Kenny, have you ever used the kids as an excuse to spend time with Keisha?"
Where did that question come from?
"No I have not. Keisha has called the house plenty of times saying that one of them needed something and it was only her way of trying to spend time with me."
"And you just allowed that to happen?"
I got to shut this shit down because these two mothafuckas will start arguing with each other anywhere.
"What's your point Tiff? Don't beat around the bush, just ask your question? If y'all start showing your ass up here with all these sick babies, I will beat both your asses."
"I'm not starting anything Pops. I'm just asking. Layla knows the kids were ploys for y'all to spend time together. Meaning Layla knows you have been fucking Keisha way before you lied about your weak moment to get her pregnant with Asia."
