The whole point of handing everything over to my son was so that I didn't have to do this shit anymore. All I wanted to do was retire, sit at home with my wife and fuck her whenever I wanted, and spoil the shit out of her. Every so often I would spend time with the great-grands. The grands are a fucking disappointment. Tiffany was supposed to be the one who was supposed to make me proud and turned out to be the one who disappointed me the most.
I always thought it would be Rick's fucking boys who would be fuck-ups. Their daddy was so damn pussy whipped behind their mama, he didn't spend a lot of time with them. Don't get me wrong, I wasn't around as much for mine either, but it wasn't because I had to be under my woman to make sure another dick wasn't getting dropped off in her. She has calmed down a whole hell of a lot. She actually gave Brenda a run for her money when she was out there.
"Old man, what are you here thinking about?"
I look at my baby boy and want to smack the shit out of him.
"Who the fuck are you calling old? I told your ass about that. Get these mothafuckas together, James will be walking through that door in a few minutes."
He goes and comes back with everyone in tow. It's mandatory that everyone sits next to their dad. Rome sits to my right and Rick is to the left with their kids next to them. I don't know how the hell I ended up with all my grandsons. Brenda did me a favor when she went out and got pregnant with Tiffany.
"I don't want any of you mothafuckas to say a damn thing until I tell you to say something. Anybody, and I mean anybody speaks out of turn will have to see me after this meeting. Don't fucking embarrass me more than you assholes already have."
I look at all of them in the eyes, getting a head nod from all of them confirming that they understand. After about ten more minutes, our guards are leading James, Rashad, Duke's stupid ass and a few other men into the room. Four of them sit at the table and the others go stand by the wall.
"It's good to see you, James. I see that business has been good for you?"
"Likewise, Rich. I took your advice and it's still paying off."
James is a good kid, actually came from a good family. His dad walked out on his mama after he almost killed her when she found out that he had another family. She was struggling trying to put herself through nursing school and caring for three boys on her own. Her oldest son, Princeton, was killed in a drug deal gone bad. That made James the man of the house and he stepped up to help his mama out. His uncle was running this crew before he went batshit crazy, Preston is the one who took him out and claimed his territory.
"Glad to see it. Let's get down to business, shall we?"
I took him under my wing when he first started. He was smart as a whip but he was very hotheaded. I had to teach him how to run his crew like a family in order to get and keep their loyalty.
"That's what I'm here for. I don't want bad blood between us. We have come very far and I am grateful for you giving me a chance to show you what I was made of."
"I'm going to let Rome fill you in on what's going on. I'm really just here for moral support. You know I have retired and I'm letting these youngins run the show. They have the tendency to get out of line at times, so I'm here to keep them straight."
He nods his head and then he gives Rome his attention.
"I appreciate you coming. I know you were out of town, and I hope I didn't cut your trip short."
