after a few more bites, talia noticed another pair of eyes on her. she looked around the table before settling on a cerulean blue, ones that didn't back down. instead, aonung smirked once he caught the girls attention. he tilted his head down in a small nod of acknowledgement, his tight-lipped grin never fading.

talia tore her eyes away from him after that, glancing back to her mates. they were held up in a conversation with rotxo and some other boy, not paying any mind to anyone else.

then she tuned back into tsireya's conversation, who was talking about a necklace she recently received from the market she mentioned before.

after a few minutes, aonung spoke to the group with a hushed tone, "there is a party tonight, further inland. but the adults do not know. anyone going?"

tsireya asked talia, "will you be there?"

the latter hesitated, "i don't know.."

"c'mon, it'll be fun. better than any party in the forest i bet." aonung smirked from across the table.

"we really should just stay in the marui tonight." neteyam kept a stoic face as he thought about the dangers of being drunk while partying in a brand new environment.

but lo'ak disagreed, "nah we should be having fun! this is our vacation, right? might as well make the most of it."

talia bit her lip, knowing her track record with parties wasn't the best but she also didn't want to miss out. "i'll go," she decided, earning a shriek from her teal friend, "yay!"

kiri and spider looked to each other with the same look, "we'll be there too," the girl said.

soon everyone made plans to go to the party, neteyam eventually gave in as well seeing he was the only one against it. but knowing his mate would be there gave him all the reason to go to keep her safe.

"okay, wait an hour after eclipse. then meet me by the edge of the marui's and i will lead you there!" tsireya exclaimed as she talked with talia.

the group of teens quietly—though excitedly— chitchatted about the party. it was supposedly one of the best the clan threw without adults or parents, allowing the night to be partly filled with reckless and careless decisions caused by swoa—but was mainly a fun time.

soon dinner was over and eclipse was nearing, all of the families were returning to their marui's for the night. the sully's, talia and spider were all back in their shared marui as they prepared to sleep. little did jake and neytiri know, was that all of the kids (minus tuk) would be gone within the next hour.

once eclipse had passed for an hour, just as tsireya instructed, talia carefully stood from her bed and tiptoed her way to the exit. she was soon followed by her mates then kiri and spider. they didn't dare say a word until they were at the edge of the walkway, too nervous in getting caught if they did so.

then they saw tsireya, aonung and rotxo waiting for them just behind a large tree which covered them in case of any passing adults.

"c'mon!" tsireya waved them over eagerly, her smile stretching across her face.

that's when talia felt a hand slip into her own and another hand brace her lower backside. she turned to see both of her mates unable to keep their hands to themselves, especially in front of the people they were sure had a thing for her.
