Your character finds a map to a secret location. What's their next move?
"Picnic time~!" Peri cheered in a singsong voice as she held up a map.
"What?" Snowflake and Onyx asked in unison. Both looking equally unamused at the ball of sunshine that would be happy watching paint dry.
Peri slid off the stone wall in the garden and brought over a map to show her two best friends. "I found this map in the basement. Laz and I were cleaning and we found it!"
The white haired gem looked over the old yellowed page. "Where even is this?"
"No idea," Peri remarked, this close to blepping.
Onyx blinked. How was it she kept getting saddled with these two on adventures? She lifted her gaze to Peri and suddenly remembered. A tinge of light blue blush crossed her cheeks.
"Everything is an adventure if you try hard enough. So what do you think? Can we? A picnic then an adventure?"
"On the 'trying hard enough'... what if I don't want to try?" Onyx asked, raising her hand.
Snowflake reached over and lowered Onyx's hand for her. "We'd love to go on a picnic."
"Why is it always 'we' and never just you?!" The blue gem yelped.
With a laugh, Snowflake hooked her arm through Onyx's. "Because me and you make a team~"
Onyx looked at Snowflake with quite the glare. She blinked then in an icy tone noted, "I won't hesitate to kick your shin."
Peri watched the two then happily plodded off to find more information where this map led. From the looks of it though it led to somewhere called the Emerald Shores. She couldn't wait to go on an adventure with her friends. That is... if they stopped teasing each other for five minutes.
