*^ Landoscar one shots ^*

This was the original Valentine's Day story but I gave u guys that instead so u can have this a little later 🥰

At least I put the effort in of trying to get it out on Wednesday but I only started writing it on Monday 💔

Oscar liked reading.

He also did a little writing when he wanted to. Never a story though. More like letters, he was good at letters, his teachers had always said he was to.

Lando came up to him one day, actually it was during the winter break in the MTC.

"Osc! You know how it's Valentine's Day soon? Right, well, I was thinking, like, what if someone gave us love letters?" Lando amiled, sitting down in the chair opposite Oscar, "what?" He said baffled.

"Yeah! Like what if one of the team members like an engineer actually liked us?" Lando said, "and I'm guessing you said the exact words the Daniel?" Oscar laughed but to his surprise, lando nodded.

"Because he got one once!"

The thought gave Oscar ideas.

What if he wrote a love letter to lando?

What if he did multiple?

What if on Valentine's Day he'd finally build up the courage to sign his name.

Maybe.

He thought.

So the next day, him and lando were back at the MYC. Oscar's first letter heavy in his hands as he slipped it into Landos locker, the Brit hadn't arrived yet so. He was able to do it without being so cautious.

Then he scurried off into the simulator for a while until lando finally arrived.

When lando finally did arrive, the letter fell out of his locker and he was shocked. It had a little flower sticker over the end to keep it sealed, and it was a white envelope with the words lando written in fancy cursive letters. Like someone was covering up their handwriting.

It read:

7/2/24
Lando,                   
You never take much notice but I don't really mind,
Because I could watch you all day long and you'd never bore me,
Whenever your nice green eyes meet mine it's almost like I crumble,
Your perfect in every way I'm not,
But I don't think I need to tell you that.

Lando read it over and over, who could be that good at writing. It's just simple complements but lando can't help but smile at the paper and take his lip between his teeth. Now he knows why Daniel was so excited, it feels nice to know someone really appreciates you.

He found Oscar quickly after dumping his bag in his locker, "Oscar! Look! It's happening to me now!" Lando whisper shouted with a smile.

Oscar looked up at him, "oh? That's nice.." he said quietly. "It's so cute! But the person didn't sign their name which is a killer," lando said and sat down in the chair opposite Oscar yet again.

It was like their usual spot, the corner in the canteen with muttered chatter from some of the engineers on break. Oscar sat in the same seat everyday, never drinking coffee, always hot chocolate, always looking at his phone when lando walked over.
