Gaster's visit came to an end quicker than I would've probably liked but, he seemed to enjoy himself which was more than enough in my eyes. With him gone I felt I could breathe a bit easier.

I really hated my upbringing. It felt so wrong being tense around the guy that has saved me and even accepted being a bigger figure in my life. But, what's done is done and I can't change it.

However, what I didn't hate was my current situation. A couple days after Gaster left I decided to relieve some stress by sparring. Nightmare hasn't reported anything odd which didn't settle me as much as I would've hoped.

Killer immediately jumped at the chance to fight with me and I was more than happy to obliged to his enthusiasm. I wasn't trying to really end it fast, just burn energy. However, once that energy was used up and I was tired of taking Killer's attacks I tied him up and sat on his back.

It was amusing for me since his had his arms stuck to his sides so he couldn't just push himself up. He wriggled and squirmed like a worm.

"Get off! Cheater!" He exclaimed after he realized his efforts weren't working.

"It's not cheating. I'm just done for the day and you never said I couldn't use my strings." I said as I brushed my hand against my cheek once I felt sweat. I could feel Killer struggling and didn't bother looking at him as I flicked my hand.

"Gah! You're not exactly light ya'know?" Killer insulted, or tried to insult.

"Sounds like you're just weak. Not really my problem. It doesnt help that you're just bones. But since you're being a baby about it..." I got up to my feet with a light smirk and hoisted him up to his feet letting the strings fall. Killer grumbled as he moved his arms around before a voice gained our attention.

"Once again, Killer gets his ass kicked," Dust said from his spot against a nearby wall. Even with his hood up it was obvious that he was enjoying himself.

"Watch it! I don't see you fighting Error." Killer went to argue but Dust didn't seem interesting to entertaining him.

"That's because I'm not an idiot. I know the difference between actual sparring and letting off steam. They knocked you around when they could've easily ended it if they wished too. You should've suspected something when they said they wanted to spar."

Killer looked annoyed and I just nodded.

"No offense but he's got a point. I don't actively try to spar unless I have to or if I need to let off steam. You just happen to make yourself an easy target to go after." I said as I glanced at the visible target on him.

"Ha. Ha. Ha. You're so funny." Killer deadpanned clearly unamused.

"I'm hilarious," I said with a straight face before heading off to do literally anything else. Dust was quick to leave as well and just headed in the opposite direction. As I approached the stairs I came to a decision on where to go.

I decided to head for my room since I'm pretty sure I needed to organize it a little. I've been just crashing and had little regard to put stuff. I like controlled chaos but I also like to feel like I had space.

I entered my space and looked around for anythimg that seemed off. My calm turned into panic for a split second as I saw the golden feather on my desk. I closed my door and leaned against it with a hand to my chest.

"Geez I got scared of a feather. I need help."

I still didn't know which Dream that feather came from but I wasn't taking chances. I grabbed it with my strings and just hung it above. With that out of sight I went around cleaning up my space. I had a lot of little things around and opened up a portal to the Anti-Void so I could sort out both spaces properly.

I wasn't sure how much time passed but I was sorting through my different puppets. I honestly didn't remember which ones I did and didn't have. Maybe I should redo them. Maybe I should make more. I can make one of Gaster, or Mayne one of a different monster to see if I could.

Or maybe-

"Broski!"

"Geez!" I jumped, glitched, and instinctively threw a bone. Luckily Fresh dodged and I groaned once I realized who my intruder was.

"Fresh?! Seriously, stop sneaking up on me! What if I harmed you idiot?"

"Aww! You totes care about me!" He said and I just stared at him debating how I wanted to respond.

No matter what snarky thing I said he would just brush it off. I saw his grin grow the longer I stayed silent. I didn't want to say something predictable but I didn't want to have him twist my silence.

I smirked slightly as a thought crossed my mind.

"And? What if I did? You gonna do something about it?" I saw results, his shades become just dots and his expression blanked. I resisted the urge to bust out laughing as I walked past him to continue my puppet inventory. I got through about four before he came back to his senses.

"Wha- Wait. No. Who are you? Imposter!" Fresh exclaimed pointing at me quite dramatically. I rolled my eyes.

"Don't be an idiot. I could've easily thrown you out if I wanted to " I said while giving him annoyed glare.

"...nevermind, you're real." Fresh bounced back seemingly convinced that I wasn't an imposter. I rolled my eye lights.

"Why are you here?" I asked and he shrugged before plopping onto my beanbag. He didn't bother giving a verbal response, he just looked at me while kicking his feet.

"Why are you such a weirdo?"

"I'm not weird. I'm unique brah!" Fresh said with a giddy look. I lost my motivation to clean up and wandered over towards him. I plopped on the seat effectively caused him to fall off with a yelp.

"Ow! Broski why?!"

"My seat, go get your own," I said before waving my hand closing off the portal. Fresh seemed fine on the floor since his didn't bother getting up. He just rested his hands behind his head.

There was a long stretch of silence. We didn't really have to or need to talk and I really didn't know how I felt about that. I wasn't as entrusting of Fresh as I was several, several, days ago. Heck I trusted him more than others. It's still weird. He was unpredictable or very predictable depending on the situation.

That being said, I wasn't expecting him to break the silence with a question that made my emotions take a jarring spike.

"Brah, I wanna talk to you about something."
