Author's note: This chapter was a struggle and my schedule was not kind. Ugh, this feels so late. I refuse to give up.

So far things were how I wanted, relaxed. I've gotten used to the feeling of things brushing against my tail or bones, it was always a fish the last eleven times I checked so I stopped as it was disturbing my rest. I didn't care for the time or for any other events. It was peaceful.

Sci was definitely having a field day. I knew this because at one point he swam over to the ship wreck and in my sleepy state I heard him rambling to one of the others. Mostly likely Fresh. Speaking of, I'm surprised the colorful menace was letting me rest without disturbing me. Not that he wouldn't have had good intentions but he seems like someone who would want everyone's attention as much as possible. He was colorful on purpose but he did appreciate a shock factor more than constant attention.

Anyways, Sci was having the time of his life exploring where he could. Fresh and Outer seemed to be entertaining him by asking questions or by just listening to him go on about something. I'm pretty sure the ocean was unexplored territory for most since Sans had an interest in the stars, if my memories were correct that is.

I didn't know where Dream went off to but I doubted it was far. Sci's excitement should definitely keep him aware of our general direction if he was a distance away.

It got quiet again which I assumed meant Sci saw something else and went off with Freah and possibly Outer following after him. I stayed in my cozy spot and decided that I wasn't going to worry about them. They didnt need me to supervise them, they were grown, and I wanted to rest more.

My thoughts kept drifting between odd dreams, current thoughts, and random ideas that went no where. Even now I didn't really understand how the mind did what it did. I never was able to control my dreams and was typically skeptical of people that said they could. Nightmares were one thing but dreams went all over the place and I generally had no control over those.

Again, time meant nothing to me.

I was brought out of my thoughts when I felt weight on my head. I peeked an eye opened and saw gold by my head. Shifting my gaze up I saw Dream was resting on the edge of the crow's nest I've curled myself in. He wasn't looking at me but his hand was on my head. I didn't say anything yet since he seemed to be in his own thoughts.

Like usual his touch had a warmth to it, I was fairly certain it had to do with his current occupation as the guardian of positivity. Positivity was in general supposed to be warm and comforting and whatever feelings someone would classify as positive. I wasn't sure if it was a unique thing, like if someone associated positivity with something like being cold then that's what they would feel, or if it was just an in general majority rules accepted feeling.

Anyways it was not like I really had to say anything since any sort of movement I did would be noticed by Dream. But just because I didn't have to say anything doesn't mean I didn't bother. Eventually I couldn't ignore his actions.

"Dream..." I muttered from my spot and saw him blink before looking down at me.

"Yes?" He asked lime nothing was wrong.

"What are you doing?"

"I'm relaxing." He said naturally and it made me pause for a moment.

"Ok... why are you resting your hand on my head?"

"Oh. No reason."

"Bullshit." Instead of looking offended at my wording he just chuckled.

"Heh, no really Error. I'm not doing anything. You seemed relaxed and it's not often we get chances like this. Guess I just wanted you to stay relaxed."
