I could only blame myself for not remembering where I was. It's not like I visited often and nothing looked memorable to immediately point. It was only when I lost sight of Fresh, made a wrong turn, and ended up in a familiar web with Cross that I realized where we were.

"Ah, of all places." Cross stop struggling hearing what I said.

"What?"

"Oh nothing, you should probably stop struggling," I point out as I didn't have to look at him to feel him moving about trying to free himself.

"Why?"

"It'll make it worse for you." I let my gaze wander to the far corners of the webbing, trying to spot it's creator lurking in the darkness somewhere.

"I wouldn't make things worse," he countered but I ignored it.

"She'll charge you." I responded and that seem to get his attention.

"What?! What does that even mean?"

"Cross I would figure you of all people know not to mess with a spider's web." I said in response as I felt a vibration.

"Error you're not-" Cross was cut off be a familiar, feminine, voice.

"Noisy noisy noisy. So much fuss coming from those in a position they don't belong in."

"Ah, Muffet. Nice to see such a lovely goddess such as yourself," I greeted the spider lady goddess that eased her way over to our location.

"Flattery will only get you so far Error." She said as a fact and I hummed.

"Come on, I speak truth. I don't flatter easily. You are a lovely goddess, I'm sure you know we hold no ill intentions for being here. Right?" I said that last part pointedly towards Cross and he seemed to understand and get the memo.

"Uh sorry for coming here unannounced... Miss Muffet," Cross said a bit tense. The spider lady gave a hum as her gaze went over both of us.

"Hmm, I'm assuming you're here because of those other Sanses that were here, if I can even call them that. One is enough already." I'm guessing she's seen Fresh then at the very least for that kind of reaction.

"Yes, I am here because of others. I was actually following one but lost sight of him and got turned around. Hence my situation now." I explained the situation.

"Well I don't see why I should let you off so easy. Do you know how long it takes to create a lovely web? And you two just appear to mess it up..."

"I'm sure we can come to an agreement." I said and she huffed.

"Oh really?"

"Yes. I'd say about ten G as an offering and our sincere apology should be enough." I gave a suggestion as I glanced at Cross. He was the responsible one of the group and I knew he always carried some currency on him so he didn't have to resort to stealing things.

Cross did not want to be in webs anymore and quickly nodded. Muffet perked up over the idea of receiving some money.

"Fifteen."

"Twelve." I countered back know she would take what she could if I let it go on too long.

"Deal. Hear we go dearies." Muffet freed us from her web. As Cross fished for the money Muffet spoke up.

"You know, maybe it's good that you're here. The little reaper has been a bit... on edge? Antsy? Worried? Hmm... less than content. Perhaps you can figure that out."

"What? You don't want to?" I asked and she gave me a look.

"No. I don't. But his heavy presence is starting to annoy me."
