"Oh, no, it's okay, Dad. I...I wasn't alone. Blu found me,"she points at Blu, who clears his throat nervously and walks over to them

"Sure is nice to meet you, sir,"he extended his wing for a shake

"Tuck that wing away, Stu,"stated the elder making him retreat his wing,"Now, come here."

"Right, sure, okay,"Blu moved barely an inch

"Closer."

"Oh! Really?"he took a step

"Closer."

"Um..."another step

"You brought my Jewel back to me. I thank you. I'm going to hug you now."

"Oh! Um...okay. I just..."

Eduardo tried to hug Blu mutually however goes through a bit of turbulence

"Oh!"

"Ow."

"Now, come here, you,"finally hugged the city macaw tight

"Ow..okay. There we are. My pleasure,"

Nico wipes tears away from his eyes as him and Pedro watched the tearful sight

"Nico, you crying?"questioned Pedro

"This is a heavy moment, and I'm very vulnerable right now,"replied the canary

"Come here. Let me get you a hug,"Pedro embraced the canary and they soon start sobbing together

Jewel tearfully laughed as she watched her father hug Blu

"Well,coast is clear,"said Dew tucking her wings back allowing the children to move freely.Taking opportunity,the oldest child flies closer to Jewel

"Mom, are you okay?"

"Mom?"the elder quickly turns to face Jewel and drops Blu in the process making him wince

"I'm a grandpa? I'm a grandpa. Look at me, I'm a grandpa!"

"Daddy, this is Carla, Bia and Tiago.And that's my sister-in-law,Dew,"she introduced her family

"Hello sir,"bowed Dew going first with the introductions

"Hah!Sir?what is sir miss?"he mused,"Call me Uncle Edwardo!"he laughed making Dew smile as his impression of a grumpy old bird like a certain someone familiar faded.

"Uncle Ed!"Dew tested the boundaries to see if he would snap

"Even better!"he boomed much to her surprise

"Nice to meet you sir,"the youngest female introduced herself

The elder laughed again,"There is no sir around here, young lady. You will call me Pop-Pop!"

"Pop-Pop. Ooh, I like that. It's got a nice ring to it,"said the oldest

"I am a Pop-Pop!"sang Edwardo as the kids fly around him,"Yeah, I'm the Pop-Pop-Pop."

"Kids, go easy on old Pop-Pop,"said Blu as he tried to familiarise

"You can call me sir,"he told Blu

"My daughter has returned!"he announced to the nearby macaws raising his wings

The elder led them towards their haven,the sight presented itself with never-ending waterfalls, succulent berries,fine clay grounds and generations of families nesting on trees and holes

"For years, we have been on the run as the humans push us deeper into the jungle. But as you can see, we have found sanctuary. A place we can finally put down roots,"

"Everyone! Come on! Everyone, out of your nests! My daughter is home! Come on, birds. My Jewel is back!"he announced making sure every macaw far and wide heard his voice.

A particular adult spix wakes up from her beauty sleep,upon hearing the news,"Jewel?"

"Make way. Make way. Jewel!"the macaw shouted, flying through the crowd of birds trailing behind the family

"Aunt Mimi? Aunt Mimi!"questioned Jewel looking back.Mimi slams into Jewel in excitement and they embrace each other instantly,"Oh! I missed you so much!"

"My little wildflower has returned! I knew you were coming back. I saw it in the droppings,"she whispered the last line

"And who are you...hmm?"she eyed the female spix landing near Jewel

"Name's dew",she replied waddling closer,"Jewel's in law."

"Oh,"said Mimi as she eyed her up and down

"Mom, Aunty Dew!Look at this!"The children called out, beckoning the adult females to praise them for their antiques

Aunt Mimi gasped in the presence of another aunt,"ohh,no wonder I had a feeling we'd get along.Us aunts need to stick together,"she hugged the taller macaw with her wing

"Oh.Well....I-"

"And just look at the little ones!"she runs towards the kids holding her wings open,"Aren't you the fluffiest, most delicious little macaws?"as goes to grab them,they fly off and suddenly Mimi is left holding Blu's face," Oh! You're big for your age,"she inspected the macaw

"Uh...Mimi. This is Sue,"stated Edwardo

"Oh, actually, I'm Blu,"corrected the anxious bird

To which Mimi laughed,"Aren't we all?"

"Oh! No, really, that's my name-"

"That's why they call us blue macaws,"the aunt interrupted

"Just go with it,"advised Jewel

They suddenly hear a bird crooning to which Dew comments,"where is that music coming from?"she looked around

Coming into view,everyone one is aghast as to how good looking he is,not just to the females

"So, that's what a blue macaw is supposed to look like?"questioned Pedro flying along with the canary

"Oohh-look at that wingspan,"commented Dew near her brother earning a look from him,"Sorry-"she coughed

The blue macaw starts singing for Jewel,"Look at her shining. Her feathers, they glow,"he stepped down a branch and slid towards the females nearby making them swoon,"Now the jungle is smiling, cause our baby's home."

"Can you feel what I feel? The day has come at last. Our precious Jewel has returned. I'll be the first to sing, welcome back,"he flies over to Jewel and extends his wing to her as a gesture

"Roberto. I... "as she goes to grab his wing when suddenly Roberto starts singing again making Jewel seem uncomfortable

"Oh, welcome back. I said welcome, welcome, w-w-welcome...back! Wow, you look great!"

"So do you,"replied the female
