"Another failed attempt,"sighed Dew while returning back to the tribe from her exploration

"Why didn't he just tell me there were macaws like me?"she pondered,"woah woah woah,where you going little bird?"she questioned as Bia zipped past her with her new friends.

"The whole tribe's gathering to watch the sunset,by my calculations in exactly sixteen minutes and thirty seconds, it will be peak dusk!"she exclaimed

"Alright,fly ahead you lot! I'll catch up soon!"she smiled

"Enjoying the view?"questioned the suave male towards the solitary female perched on a branch,quite distant from the flock

"Yeah,sunsets here are just as beautiful as Rio,if not,even more.... ethereal."

The male then perched besides her,"you have a way with words,"he stated to which the female hummed simply looking forward.

Dew sighed in content at the peaceful moment,not realising the male was no longer looking at the sunset but instead lost in the natural reflection of her eyes.

Noticing the male through the corner of her eye she questioned,"what? something wrong?"

The male chuckled, closed his eyes and shook his head slightly.Opening them slightly he husked his voice,"didn't realise at first,but now I know,"

"Okay?very good,good for you,"said Dew slowly looking away from the male and taking a step to the left in order to create distance between them.

"You free this night?"he questioned

"Huh?"

Back in the bachelor's nest the city macaw excavates his fanny pack for something important to him

"Ah!"he exclaimed getting a hold of his prize,a pack of breath mints,"So minty,"he hissed popping  one in his mouth

As he relished the sensation,his moment eventually gets disturbed by an unbothered fly bothering him

Blu proceeds to shoo the fly buzzing around his head.However at hid faild attempts to shoo it off,he picks up his GPS and locates something,"Yes!"he exclaimed

The fly returns to buzz around Blu's head,to which he takes out a spray and starts spraying the fly and accidentally sprays into his eye," Ooh! Ah!"at that moment Jewel flies into the nest

"Oh. Hey, sweetie, there you are. What's taking you so long?"she notices Blu holding the GPS,"Enough with that GPS, really,"she sighed,"The whole tribe's gathering to watch the sunset. Come on."

She goes to fly off towards the exit however the male stopped her

"Oh, no! Hang on. No, I just found Linda and Tulio's coordinates. Hm. They are just on the other side of the grove,"he holds up the GPS and points to their location,"Look, they're really close."

"Oh."

"Yeah. Now, I know your dad doesn't totally trust humans but I'm sure if he met them, he would change his mind. They can help keep this place safe"

"Yeah, Blu, my dad knows what he's doing. And can't you just forget Linda and Tulio for one minute and enjoy a sunset?"

"But I...I thought that was our plan."

"Route guidance complete,"stated the device

"I...you know, maybe some places shouldn't be found. Maybe they should just be left alone,"said Jewel while looking at the view of her home.

The fly comes back to buzz around Blu who flaps his wings to get rid of it when suddenly, Jewel snaps it up and swallows it, surprising her partner.

As night fell,the moon shone in its peak,the trail of stars lighting up the sky for nocturnal navigators.A particular bird however, non-nocturnal flies silently as an owl would in its domain.

"Great,so what do you want?"she questioned as she landed on a branch, bordering the tribe.

A macaw illuminated by the moonlight turned to slightly open his eyes towards her direction

"I figured we won't get time to be alone for a while ,and...and besides I did promise you that tour,"he raised his wing.

"At night?"doubted Dew,"what about the patrollers?"

"Please, I know their patrol patterns like the back of my wing,Relax we'll be fine,"he assured,"may I have the honours of taking you on a moonlight tour?"he raised his wing

Dew stared at the male hesitant for a few seconds however gave in eventually, raising her wing towards his,"you may."

Just as she spoke those words,the male instantly took off, dragging the female alongside him.

Coming across multiple sights,such as the forest clearing full with fireflies, luminous fungi In small patches and a view of the jungle from the tallest tree in the amazon

The two flew alongside leaping river dolphins and  unintentionally bothered river otters and their families.

"Yeah,and when we were kids it was her getting the both of us in a mess,"smiled Roberto to which Dew laughed in response leaning against a tree perched on its branch,the moon in full view with its twinkling companions.

"You two were like two peas in a pod,"she emphasized

"What?"questioned the male not understanding her words

"Two seeds of the same fruit,you both were close,"she simplified

"Yeah,we were,that was until-"he paused

"The humans?"she continued for him,"you don't have to continue if you don't want to,"

"Nonono, it's fine,it was until the humans came,took away everything from us,took me away and shaped me into something else.I escaped,only to know the macaws I knew were gone,my..."he coughed fully sitting down almost making his legs not visible,for he tucked them in, with his feathers,"sorry....Jewel ...was gone."

"But it's all better now, she's back with her own happy family, I can only imagine what she's been through and Blu's lucky, he's really lucky to have her and you as family,"he chuckled,"Dew,you are one macaw of a bird, I know I'm getting ahead of myself but will you-"he turned towards the female only to see her leaning against the bark, breathing evenly with closed eyes

"Dew?"he questioned soon letting out a sigh of contentment,"good night,"said Roberto while looking at the moon
