Night fell as the forest lived up to its name.A storm brewed making creatures retreat into their burrows and nests.

A male macaw inspects his temporary home with a flashlight, trying to find anything suspicious.

As the thunder rumbled the macaw whimpered thinking the creatures he saw in the cover of the night in his current stay were dangerous.However upon just the flash of light ,his fears disappeared.

"Okay. All clear,"he turned off his device

He then hears Jewel singing a lullaby to the kids to help them sleep peacefully

"Moon beams and starlight. Magical twilight, the warmest rain. Hear it whispering your names. Rainbows at midnight, sparkling night skies. Don't go away, stay another day."

"Can you sing it again, please?"requested Tiago waking up

"Time for bed now,"she kissed her son making him fall back into a state of sleep.

Flying over to his spouse by the entrance Jewel felt content,"What an amazing day. All this time, I...I never let myself hope that they were alive but...but they are,"she paused

Meanwhile Dew watched the couple through her room entrance,a smile adorning her face.

Blu puts his wing around her shoulders and pulls her in close,"We found our family, Blu. This changes everything."

"Yeah. Wait. Wait, what? What's changing?the female leaned into him falling asleep instantly,"Jewel?"

late at night somewhere in the forest,Linda wakes up as she hears a noise outside their tent, unsuccessful in trying to wake her husband,she goes out the tent to investigate by herself only to find a small monkey looting their food,

"Shoo, shoo, shoo. Go on,"

The primate hurries off into the jungle,and as Linda goes back into the tent,the monkey watches them from nearby; smirking at his discovery

Stars still engulfed the sky, however the horizon showed streaks of indigo and navy, indicating the start of a new day

Dew stretched her wings by the edge of the nest entrance, yawning once before making herself free fall below.

Spreading her wings as she almost reached the ground however,she launched herself into the canopy in less than a second,as the sun rose making her hazel eyes glow in its warmth,she took a deep breath.

With no destination set in mind,she flew wherever she could for a sign.

Her original aim,to find the pair of scarlets who once taught her survival skills and gave her life lessons.

The Amazonian birds and mammals started their morning calls, waking everyone.Opting not to go far as to not cause any form of suspicions,the female retreated.

Flying back home,she came across a tiny set of familiar blue feathers,"Carla?what are you doing early in the morning?"she questioned her niece as she landed next to her on the forest floor

"Goodmorning!And I'm tryna' help the guys with the contestants since the macaws can't come to Rio,so auditions will be this afternoon and the selections will be tomorrow!"she exclaimed,"you can join if you like,"

"You do know,it takes time to prepare, unless they're naturally talented."

"Exactly!"replied the bird,"And what I meant was as a judge,"she chuckled

"Alright,cool, good luck recruiting and stay out of trouble!"shouted Dew leaving the young one with the turtles and capybaras

"Well,well,well,look who's up early,"said Dew as she perched on a branch near the young kids playing football,"great to make new friends ei Tiago?"

"I met them this morning !"replied Tiago while flying,"Hey guys!say hi to my aunt!"

The flock of birds greeted the adult.Noticing one of the kids holding a round hard nut,she got the gist of what the children were indulging themselves in before she arrived

"May I,"she asked the child before he threw the nut in her direction.

Within a second the female bounced the nut with her chest taking flight as she did,soon balancing the nut on her beak.Following by making the nut slide from her left wing to the right

The young gasped and awed, finally throwing the nut back to Tiago she chuckled,"okay so you kids have your fun I'll leave now.Tiago?"

"Are your parents awake?"she questioned the male

"Mom is! She's at Aunt Mimi's by the way."

"As expected,"she stated flying away,"thanks honey."

By the claybanks where the other aunt resides,the female met the one she was hoping to.

"Jewel! goodmorning!"she landed

"Oh! Dew perfect timing!"

"Anything you need?"she asked nervously

"I was just about to,go catch up with the others and Bia wants to go to the edge to check something about clay,hope you don't mind watching her for fifteen minutes?"she requested,continuing,"you know how she is.Just to-make sure she doesn't do anything.... extreme."

"Yeah, got that from both of you,"she muttered brightening up,"Sure,why not!"

"Thanks I promise it won't take long!"said Jewel flying away

"Take your time!"shouted Dew

Then came her dearest niece with her newest aunt talking about the benefits of added clay in one's diet

"I'm telling you darling, it's the best there is,no other bank in the Amazon will have such fine clay!"

"Aunty Dew!Aunt mimi said that clay is apparently good for your digestion! wanna try?"questioned Bia while holding a piece of clay at her face

"Won't hurt to try some,"said Dew,soon taking the clay by her beak and into her throat, swallowing it whole

"Hmm....worse than expected,"she mumbled,"you know who else would like it? your dad!"she smiled deviously.

"Give him some when he wakes up alright?now come on let's go to ....check something about clay."

"Aren't you great with children!"exclaimed Mimi,"just like me,"followed by a sigh,"I still remember when Jewel was at that age, always so curious,"

"Now seeing her back with little ones of her own, I can't help but-Get your brother out of the mud before I call your mother!"Mimi shouted at the sight of children and their antiques,"Ah,where was I..."

"You,like... seriously didn't?"

"No!in all honesty no! I've never done that and I never will!"exclaimed Dew at the peppy questions from the females along the bank

Perched expertly along the rifts,the group of females chatted shifting topics,it was certainly the best way to spread news or gossip

While Bia inspected clay quality from different height levels, nothing too dangerous, Dew got herself involved with the group not long since she arrived.

"There he is,there he is!"a female by the name Petra exclaimed making the others look at the sight of the suave male flying past with his team of night patrollers

The line snapped when the male winked causing the females to swoon and faint, dropping off the cliff.

"He's so dreamy,"said another making Dew look at them in disbelief.

When Mimi and Bia came near her while the females kept swooning,she kept looking at them in pity as she said,"poor things,how unfortunate, they're blind."

Mimi snorted and Bia laughed as they took flight into the sky

"What?am I wrong?"
