Crystals In Calamore

Start from the beginning

Then, without warning, the pedestal flickered, and a holographic projection materialized before him.

A tall, imposing figure clad in sleek red armor appeared. His dark, spiky hair framed a sharp yet composed expression. The image of Blade, leader of the Protectors of Cyberspace, locked eyes with Matt before speaking.

“To whom it may concern,” the hologram began, his voice calm but commanding. “Congratulations. By reaching this chamber, you have proven yourself worthy of the first crystal.”

Matt straightened, listening intently.

“With this, you and your allies have been chosen for a mission of critical importance. The four elemental crystals hold immense power, and in the wrong hands, they could unleash chaos upon the multiverse. Your task is to find the remaining three and protect them at all costs.”

A small pulse of energy crackled around the crystal in Matt’s bag.

“The first crystal grants access to the Multiversal Networking System—an interconnected web of portals spanning dimensions. Through it, you will find the guidance you need. Seek out our assistant, Max. He will aid you in your journey.”

The hologram’s gaze grew somber.

“The fate of countless worlds now rests in your hands. Proceed wisely. Stay vigilant. And above all… do not let the crystals fall into enemy hands.”

With that, the image flickered and faded, leaving Matt standing in silence.

He exhaled sharply, his mind racing. What had started as a straightforward search for a power source had now become something much bigger.

Adjusting the straps of his backpack, he turned and hurried back down the staircase. He needed to tell the others—fast.

As he retraced his steps through the icy tunnels, one thought burned in his mind:

This mission just got a whole lot more serious.

....

As Matt emerged from the tunnel, his breath came in quick puffs of steam against the freezing air. He spotted the others regrouping near a towering cluster of ice-covered stalagmites. Without hesitation, he sprinted toward them.

“Guys, you won’t believe what I just found!” He called out, his voice echoing through the cavern.

Jackie turned at the sound of his voice, immediately catching his urgency. “Matt! What’s going on? Did you find the crystal?”

Inez’s eyes widened with excitement. “That was fast!”

Matt skidded to a stop, his face flushed—not just from the cold, but from sheer exhilaration. “Not just the crystal,” he said, his voice brimming with energy. “Something even bigger.”

Chris Kratt leaned in, intrigued. “Bigger than a rare multiversal crystal? Now that’s saying something.”

“What is it? Spill it already!” Digit squawked, flapping his wings impatiently.

Matt took a breath, glancing around at the others. “Trust me, it’s a lot to explain,” he said. “It’ll make way more sense if we head back to Control Central and regroup. That way, everyone’s on the same page.”

Dr. Marbles, who had been listening intently, nodded in agreement. “If it’s as significant as you say, we should debrief at once.”

Jackie crossed her arms. “Alright, but this better be worth the suspense, Matt.”

Matt smirked. “Oh, it definitely is.”

With that, the team quickly retraced their steps out of the cavern, eager to uncover the full magnitude of Matt’s discovery.
