The United States of America—once a proud and resilient nation—had fallen under Hacker’s rule. His influence and might had spread like wildfire, with more countries around the world soon falling to his ever-growing army.

In New York City, on a dock overlooking the Statue of Liberty, Hacker stood with a megaphone, overseeing a group of former citizens and robotic minions dismantling the iconic statue.

His grand plan? Replace it with a massive statue of himself as a symbol of his rule. A similar project was in the works for Mount Rushmore, though the details were still being finalized.

“YOU! Work faster! YOU—move that piece to the right! And YOU… HEY! My chin is NOT that big! Fix it immediately!” Hacker barked, waving his arms in frustration.

As he continued barking orders, his tablet buzzed in his pocket. With a groan, he pulled it out and saw an incoming call from Max. Rolling his eyes, he tapped the screen.

“What is it, Max? Can’t you see I’m in the middle of something important?” Hacker snapped. “If this is about The Energy Monster again, I’ve already told her—”

“U-uh… a-actually, it’s Zach and the others,” Max stammered. “They request to speak with you… i-immediately.”

Hacker let out an exaggerated sigh. “Fine! But this better be quick—I have an empire to build!”

The screen flickered, shifting to a live feed from deep within the Everfree Forest. Zach and Tobey stood triumphantly inside an ancient temple, surrounded by the captured Mane Six, Spike, and the Cutie Mark Crusaders.

Each pony wore a blackish-gray vest and helmet with the Varmitech Industries logo. Their eyes glowed red, their expressions blank and obedient.

Behind them, Zusk held the Second Crystal in his hands, its energy pulsing ominously as they reported their success.

"Excellent!" Hacker boomed, his voice filled with triumph. "With the Second Crystal in our grasp and our new allies by our side, nothing will stand in our way of conquering the multiverse!" He chuckled darkly.

"Speaking of which, didn't you say that you wanted us to meet back in the M.N.S after we found the Second Crystal?" Zach asked.

"Yeah! I wanted to discuss our progress, and see if anyone had come up with any new ideas." Hacker said. "Go inform the others, and I'll meet you there shortly."

"Great! See you soon, Hacky-Poo!" Wicked chimed in, her voice filled with excitement.

Hacker groaned as the call ended and Max’s nervous face reappeared on the screen. “Well? You heard them! I need a portal! Now!” Hacker barked furiously.

Max nodded quickly and began working. "O-of course! One p-p-portal, coming right up!" But just as he started, he froze, his eyes widening in fear. The screen flickered, static creeping along the edges.

Something dark loomed behind him.

"Max? What’s going on?" Hacker asked, his annoyance shifting to confusion.

“T-t-there’s s-s-something behind you!” Max stammered, his voice glitching.

Hacker frowned. "What? What are you talking abou—"

Before Max could finish, the screen glitched violently, and Max’s face vanished into darkness.

Hacker turned his head skyward, his attention suddenly drawn to a strange commotion. A collective gasp rippled through the workers as an unusual spacecraft broke through the atmosphere, its sleek design unlike anything they had seen before.
