"A new player has entered the field, quite a rare sight ei?"commented the tapir while the two teams sized each other up

Making brief eye contacts with the leader scarlet, Dew proceeded to take her positions

"Go tia!!"shouted her nieces and nephew

"Felipe in the lead!!, Roberto just behind his tail!And the new player snatches the ball away from Felipe!!!Ipe Ipe!!!!"exclaimed the tapir

"Maria Dew,a new player that was apparently recruited by Edwardo and Roberto themselves this morning,"added the porcupine,

In a look of rage,the scarlet charged at the spix, however in a perfect moment,the ball gets passed towards Roberto and they start passing the ball around again

"Felipe, Roberto,Maria,Roberto, Felipe,Maria, Roberto, Felipe,Roberto,Maria,Felipe,Roberto, Felipe,Maria!!!What a turn of events!!the new player has scored a goal!!"announced the tapir

Making brief eye contacts again,the scarlet and spix parted their ways towards their positions

The blue macaw crowd cheers then as they continue to play Felipe scores another goal,"Goooooal!"

As a blue macaw gets hit by a scarlet macaw new players get replaced,"Ooh! Ay-ya-ya. That's got to hurt"

"Go, go!"said the elder

The scarlet macaws hit another goal leaving the spix to work more harder

"Felipe-lipe-lipe!"

Felipe then hits a blue macaw which earned a shout of protest from the elder spix and a groan of disappointment from the elder scarlet.

"Foul!"said the referee

"Oh! Come on, ref!"pleaded Felipe

Eduardo points to Blu as the blue macaw is being carried away,"Okay, you're in."

"Really?"questioned Blu

"Not you. You."he pointed again,a small scrawny looking blue macaw appears from behind Blu

"Watch and learn, water boy,"as he goes to fly off the edge of the cliff he falls down making Edwardo initiate an eye roll

"Alright, just get in there,"the elder gave up

"Yes!"Blu takes off his fanny pack and flies over to join the blue macaw team,"Okay. Here we go, coach,"

"Alright Blu!!!! let's do this!!"said Dew

"Yeah, Dad!"cheered the children

"A new player is coming off the bench. Is he a secret weapon?"questioned the tapir imitating a weapon

The porcupine then added,"Ooh. I think it's the water boy."

As the Blue macaws passed each other the ball,Blu announced his position,"Hey, I'm open! I'm open, toss it to me! Hey, pass to me, I'm open. I'm wide open! Pass the ball to me!"

Suddenly a ball is thrown to Blu, hitting him hard on the head.The crowd winced and so did his sister in a corner.

"Sorry Blu!!"winced Dew at the sound

"Thanks for the pass, Blu!"said Felipe snatching the ball from the city macaw

However Roberto cuts in and takes the ball in no less than five seconds,"Mind if I borrow this?"

"Roberto moves in. He shakes one, then another! Roberto! Goooooal!"announced the tapir

Roberto and three of his teammates do a little victory dance in account of his success.The blue macaw crowd cheered along raising their wings in a beautiful synchronised wave formation making the scarlets irritated with the result.

"We are tied in the Pit of Doom,"said the porcupine,"Whoever scores next..."

"Wins it all!"finished the tapir

Noticing the nut falling below all the players,Blu rushed and dove down towards the lake,Oh, I got it, I got it!"

"Come on, Blu,"encouraged Jewel from the stands

"Wow! The water boy is suddenly playing like a pro!"stated the porcupine as Blu manages to get a hold of the ball all the while evading his opponents and in the process removing a latched piranha from the ball.

After throwing the fish at one of his opponent's face,Blu speeds off towards the direction of the goalkeeper

"Pass the ball to Roberto!"shouted Edwardo to which the macaw ignored going directly forward all the while ignoring his opponents and team

"BLU!!"shouted Dew as her brother flew past her

"Pass the ball! Pass the ball!"

"Blu, wait!"exclaimed Roberto

"Nah, this bird's got it covered,"said Blu,solely focusing on getting a goal

As he got near the goal,he took a shot and the ball landed into his own team's goal,"Goooooa...oh, oh,"he soon realised his mistake

The blue macaw crowd sighs as they realize what Blu did, the referee then blows the whistle and the scarlet macaws win the game.

The score keeper showcasing the accounted nuts,the cheers go in a frenzy leaving the spix macaws in disappointment

Dew slumped along bending her head in sorrow, flying still midair

"It looks like the secret weapon just backfired!,"announced the tapir,"Let's go to Eduardo for his reaction."

Jewel and the kids looking fly off in disappointment and Felipe flies over to tease the elder

"Check it out, old Eddie. Looks like you guys are gonna have to start a nut-free diet,"laughed the scarlet,"We're gonna be talking about that for a long time,"said Felipe flying off as Blu goes over to see Roberto.

Making one last eye contact with the female spix,the scarlet flies away.No sooner the female too takes flight towards the opposite direction

"I shouldn't have expected more from a human's pet,"

Roberto flies off leaving Blu all alone and feeling desolate.
