He put the finishing touches on the table and his phone vibrated. Yeonjun was outside and was waiting in the from since Beomgyu instructed that the doorman not let him in until he came to the front.

"He's here!" He ran to the front foor and then checked himself in the mirror nearby before finally opening the door. "Hi Yeonjun."

"Hi Beomgyu."

"Happy early birthday." He clapped and then grabbed his arm pulling him inside. "Put this on." He blindfolded him and Yeonjun laughed.

"Beomgyu what is this? I remember telling you that I wanted something small."

"Yes but I want it to be special so shhh." He guided him towards the backyard. "You're coming up on a step." He guided him outside and then took off the blindfold.

"Surprise!" Beomgyu squealed and Yeonjun opened his eyes and his mouth fell open.

Even though it was small like he asked, Beomgyu clearly put a lot of detail into it. The table had a pretty table cloth on it, flowers in the center with balloons. The cake sat in front of a chair with balloons tied to the back of it. There was a speaker playing music in the background and the overall atmosphere was nice and comforting.

"Yeonjun?" Beomgyu stood in front of him playing with his sleeves. "Do you like it?"

"I love it." He smiled at him. "This is amazing."

A large grin spread across Beomgyu's face, they went to sit down and the maids brought their food out. "I helped cook! I...I hope you like it."

Yeonjun tasted it and hummed. "It's delicious. This is all so...you really didn't have to do this."

"I know but I wanted to. You've been a great friend to me Yeonjun and I have been really happy with you and hanging out with you...it sounds weird but I do really love your company and I'm happy I get to celebrate this day with you."

He blushed a little and looked away from him. Beomgyu was too sweet for his own good.

After they finished eating Beomgyu stood up and lit the candles on his cake. He sang happy birthday to him, his voice loud yet gentle and soft. He was proud to sing it but his voice sounded so delicate as he did. He clapped along as he sang and Yeonjun found himself staring at him as the wind blew gently since they were sitting outside, the sun was hitting his face in a way that the light seemed to bounce off of him. He was breathtakingly beautiful and he hadn't realized he was staring until Beomgyu waved at him.

"Yeonjun your candles are gonna melt into the cake!" He exclaimed.

"Shit sorry!" He quickly made a wish and blew the candles out. "Thank you Beomgyu."

"Of course!" He held up his gift bag. "Now open it, I've been dying this entire time for you to."

"You got me something?"

"Of course I did. Now open it."

He unwrapped the small gift revealing a box and when he opened it his eyes widened. It was a silver watch, a really nice one at that with a silver chained necklace to pair with it. He stared at it for a while and all he could think was, 'this is expensive'.

"Yeonjun do you like it? I didn't know what to get so I asked my mom and she suggested it. She even came along to help me pick it out."

He looked at him. "I'm speechless. This is...this is a lot. I don't know if I can take this."

"Nonsense of course you can." He took the watch out the box and put it on his wrist for him. He also took the necklace and put it around his neck as well. "I got it for you. Happy birthday Yeonjun."

Yeonjun quickly stood from his chair, knocking it over in the process as he pulled him into a tight embrace shocking him. Beomgyu slowly hugged him back, his cheeks a visible shade of red as he did so.

"Yeonjun–"

"Thank you so much Beomgyu." He whispered to him.

"You're...you're welcome."
