"It looks like it might storm." Beomgyu said as he stood behind Yeonjun as they bought their train tickets. "I knew we should've did this next weekend."

"Hey," he turned around and handed him his ticket. "You have nothing to be worried about." He reached in his bag and took out a pair of headphones. "I got these for you. Their the new noise canceling headphones and with your bodyguard with you I will keep an eye out on any creeps who dare to touch the lovely prince."

Beomgyu took them and grinned. "Thank you Yeonjun." He jumped a little as the thunder rolled in.

"Looks like you'll get the chance to test them out." He placed them on his head for him and turned them on. Beomgyu connected them to his phone and played music.

A flash lightning and another bang of thunder and he was okay. Yeonjun sighed in relief and smiled with a thumbs up which Beomgyu did back at him with a large smile across his face.

"Cute." He said but he didn't hear him.

He held his hand and guided him to a bench to wait for the train. When it arrived they went inside and sat down, the train ride was an hour. The rain didn't last long and the thunder stopped almost as soon as it started. When they got off the train Beomgyu took his headphones off and tucked them away in his bag. A small gasp left his lips as he pointed up at the sky.

"Look!"

Yeonjun looked up and saw the rainbow he was pointing at. Beomgyu took out his phone and quickly took a picture of it.

"Hey." They turned and saw an older couple. "We can take a picture of you two in front of the rainbow." The woman walked over and held out her hand. "Quickly before it goes away."

Beomgyu handed her his phone and Yeonjun put his hand around his waist and pulled him in. Beomgyu's eyes widened, surprised at first before he changed it and smiled for the picture.

The woman laughed lightheartedly and walked back over to them.

"You two look cute together. I love young love."

Now they were both blushing as they quietly thanked her for taking the pictures. Beomgyu cleared his throat and looked at Yeonjun.

"So what first?" Yeonjun asked as they started walking. "I don't know, it's kinda wet and muddy out should we still try the nature trail?"

"It might be a little wet but we should be fine as long as we stay on the path. Besides we dressed for the occasion, are you worried about getting a little dirty?" He teased as he nudged him slightly.

He scoffed with an eye roll. "No."

"Then let's go!" He called for a taxi and they went to the natural trail he wanted to go to.

They started their walk and Beomgyu looked at the trees and the streams they passed by while talking about anything and everything.

"No siblings?" Yeonjun asked.

"Actually I have an older brother." Beomgyu said as he looked at him. "As soon as he could he moved away and now he lives in London."

"Do you two talk?"

"When we can." He said as he shrugged. "I'll have to admit I pushed him away a lot and resented him for leaving me. My parents...they aren't bad but not everyone deserves to be a parent."

"I understand you a lot."

"What about you?"

"I always counted Taehyun as my little brother but I'm the only child."

"Mmmm, so you're spoiled."

He laughed. "Perhaps I am."

"Was it lonely?"

Yeonjun thought about it and hummed. "It was for a while actually. I'm grateful for my friends, they're closer than any family I have, well excluding my grandma I love her."

"That's sweet. Maybe I could meet her one day."

"Maybe." He said as he looked at him. "How's your nana?"

"Still unconscious but her vitals are good. I'm scared to visit her, I hate seeing her like that it makes me nauseous."

"I could go with you." Yeonjun said. "For support."

"I'd like that a lot hyung."

They kept walking and Beomgyu could hear the gentle splash of water in the distance. "We must be close."

"To what?" Yeonjun asked.

"The waterfall." He walked a little faster and gasped as it came into sight. "Look at it. It's beautiful isn't it?"

"It is. Let's take a picture."

They turned around and took a selfie with the waterfall in the background.

"Oh hey!" They looked up and saw the elderly couple from earlier. "I have a Polaroid can I take one for you?"

"Our hero." Yeonjun said.

The lady laughed with her husband and took a picture of the two of them. The picture printed off and she handed it to them.

"What do you think?" She asked.

They looked at it and smiled. "We love it thank you so much." Beomgyu said as they bowed to her.

"No problem, you kids take care." They waved and the couple couple continued walking."

"We look good together." Beomgyu said and then he realized what he said and turned red as he looked up at Yeonjun who was smirking at him. "Not...not like that."

"Not like what?" He asked as he tilted his head a little.

"You know what I mean!" He shoved him playfully and Yeonjun laughed.

"Do I?"

They continued walking and laughing together as they walked up the path past the waterfall.

"This is gonna sound really random but when I die I really wanna come back as a huge, strong tree." Beomgyu said as he looked up at the trees around them.

"Oh yeah?" He asked with an amused laugh.

"Yes, I know it sounds silly but look at this." He said gesturing to the nature around them. "Don't you ever stop and look around and think how beautiful life is? I have to admit I wouldn't say something like that four years ago but now...it's really nice to just be human and have the privilege of making mistakes and seeing the world." He took a deep breath. "It's such a nice day out."

"Should I be concerned?"

Beomgyu laughed. "Not at all. I'm just really calm that's all. It's nice to get away from the loud city, hm?"

"Yeah it is. When I die I always said that I want to come back as a dog. Belly rubs and a loving home and treats."

"Should I rub your belly and call you a 'good boy'?"

"If you call me a good boy you need to prepare yourself for what might happen next."

Beomgyu turned tomato red and then pointed at a random bird. "Wow look at that." He ran over to take a picture and Yeonjun burst into a fit of laughs.

"I'm just messing with you!"

"Quiet!"

After their day of fun they caught the train back home. Beomgyu had fallen asleep, his head rested on Yeonjun's shoulder.

Yeonjun stared out the window watching the lights of the city pass by. He held Beomgyu's hand and thought about how small yet comforting they felt in his own.
