The next day at school seemed ordinary for most, but a strange tension lingered. Jimin waited alone in the hallway, his back against the lockers, eyes darting toward the restroom where Taehyung had gone. He was anxious, his mind clouded by the unsettled feelings Yoongi’s arrival had stirred up. The thought of facing him again was enough to make his pulse race.

Suddenly, Jimin’s stomach clenched as he saw Yoongi striding toward him, his expression blank but eyes dark, piercing right through Jimin’s wavering gaze.

“You love running away, don’t you?” Yoongi’s voice was cold, his words laced with a subtle threat.

Jimin swallowed, feeling his throat tighten. Memories he’d tried so hard to forget crept back, clouding his mind. “I… are you… are you here because of me?” he stammered, his voice barely above a whisper.

Yoongi’s smirk was cruel, and before Jimin could react, Yoongi’s hand shot out, gripping his forearm tightly, his fingers pressing hard enough to bruise. “What else would a cheating bitch like you would be good at ,atleast try to hide nicely,Jimin?” Yoongi’s voice was a venomous hiss, his gaze cutting.

Jimin’s heart shattered at the words, his breath caught in his chest. Yoongi let go, turning his back on Jimin without another glance. Jimin stumbled back, holding his bruised arm, trying to process the flood of hurt and humiliation as he fought to keep the tears at bay.

Meanwhile,

in the restroom hallway, Taehyung was taken off guard as Jungkook suddenly cornered him, pushing him against the wall. Jungkook’s face was unreadable, a storm hidden behind his sharp gaze as he trapped Taehyung in place.

“Koo—Jungkook, what are you—”

“Why?” Jungkook’s voice cut him off, filled with a frustrated intensity that left Taehyung at a loss for words. “Why are you avoiding me?”

Taehyung’s face softened in confusion, trying to process Jungkook’s question. “What… what are you talking about?”

Jungkook’s jaw clenched, his frustration palpable. “Taehyung, don’t play games with me. You know exactly what I mean. You’re ignoring me, pushing me away. Why?”

That was all it took for Taehyung to snap. The emotions he’d bottled up, the heartbreak and betrayal, everything he had tried to suppress suddenly bubbled over.

“You really want to know why, Jungkook?” Taehyung’s voice cracked, his tone a mix of anger and hurt. “Maybe it’s because you keep ditching me for those so-called ‘friends’ of yours. Maybe it’s because you shoved me aside, called me needy, humiliated me in front of everyone. You treated me like nothing!”

Jungkook’s face fell, guilt flashing in his eyes, but Taehyung wasn’t done.

“You think you can just push me away, make me feel worthless, and then come back when you feel like it?” Taehyung’s voice shook, his pain raw and exposed. “You broke me, Jungkook. You pushed me away, over and over, and now… now you have the nerve to act like I’m the one to blame?”

Jungkook opened his mouth, but no words came. The weight of Taehyung’s words crushed him, leaving him rooted to the spot, staring into Taehyung’s hurt-filled eyes. He’d always assumed that Taehyung would be there, loyal and forgiving, no matter what. But now he saw just how deeply he’d wounded him, and the reality of his own actions hit him like a punch to the gut.

“After all this time—ignoring me, ditching me, humiliating me in front of your friends...and now suddenly it’s my fault?” Tae snarled

Jungkook tensed, his expression hardening, but he didn’t reply. Instead, the familiar feeling of regret tugged at him—only to be silenced by his pride yet again, brushing it off just like every time before.
