The school day passes uneventfully until lunchtime, when ʀᴇᴏ ᴍɪᴋᴀɢᴇ corners you again.
"You're coming to the study group after class, right?" he asks, his tone cheerful but insistent.
You nod, not because you want to, but because it's easier than arguing. It's your day off from Maid Latte, and you suppose it won't hurt to spend some time with others.

The classroom Reo reserved for the study group is bustling when you arrive. He greets you with a bright smile, gesturing for you to take a seat.
"Perfect timing, Y/n! We're just getting started."
Around the table are ɴᴀɢɪ ꜱᴇɪꜱʜɪʀᴏ, who's already half-asleep; ʀɪɴ ɪᴛᴏꜱʜɪ, his brows furrowed as he flips through a textbook; ʏᴜᴋɪᴍɪʏᴀ ᴋᴇɴʏᴜ, carefully organizing his notes; ᴄʜɪɢɪʀɪ ʜʏᴏᴍᴀ, who looks relaxed but attentive; and, unsurprisingly, ɪꜱᴀɢɪ ʏᴏɪᴄʜɪ, who offers you a friendly wave.
You take a seat at the edge of the group, pulling out your notebook.

Reo takes charge, enthusiastically explaining the topics they'll cover. His energy is contagious, and even Nagi begrudgingly lifts his pen.
"You're so dramatic, Reo," Nagi mutters, resting his head on his hand.
All eyes turn to you, and you feel the weight of their gazes. You give a small nod, causing Reo to grin triumphantly.
Rin scoffs softly, not looking up from his book. "Don't drag her into your theatrics."
"Rin, Rin, Rin," Reo says, leaning forward. "Don't be such a killjoy."
"Focus," Rin replies curtly.
Yukimiya, ever the peacemaker, chuckles. "Let's just get through this. Y/n, if you need help with anything, feel free to ask."
You nod again, appreciating his calm demeanor.

Despite the lively atmosphere, the study session progresses smoothly. Nagi surprises everyone by solving a complex equation with minimal effort, earning a half-hearted glare from Reo.
"See? Even Nagi's contributing," Reo says, triumphant.
"Barely," Chigiri quips, earning a laugh from Isagi.
Rin remains focused, occasionally glancing in your direction. When your eyes meet, he quickly looks away, his expression unreadable.

During a short break, Isagi pulls up a chair beside you.
"Hey, are you doing okay? You've been quiet," he says, though his tone is gentle rather than prying.
You nod, scribbling something in your notebook.
"Figures," Reo interrupts, plopping down on your other side. "Y/n's probably acing everything while the rest of us struggle."
"Don't project," Chigiri calls from across the room.
The banter continues, filling the space with laughter and lightheartedness. For once, you don't mind being surrounded by people.
