The day starts like any other, quiet and uneventful. But as you walk through the school halls, balancing your books and dodging the occasional overenthusiastic fangirl screaming about the soccer team, your day takes a sharp turn.

It begins with Rin.

He finds you during lunch, his face its usual mix of stoic determination and subtle awkwardness when it comes to approaching you.

"Y/n," he says, standing at the edge of your table.

You glance up from your food.

"I have a match this weekend," he starts, his voice even but slightly softer than usual. "It's important. I'd like you to come."

There's no grand speech, no persuasive tactics—just a simple request. He's staring at you, his teal eyes unwavering, as if daring you to say no.

You nod slightly in acknowledgment, not quite committing but not rejecting him either. He seems satisfied with that and walks away, leaving you with a sense of impending obligation.

You think that's the end of it—until Sae approaches you in the hallway after school.

He doesn't bother with pleasantries. "You're coming to my game this weekend," he says, his tone commanding as if it's a foregone conclusion.

You stop in your tracks, turning to face him. His gaze is steady, expectant, and just a little smug.

"I've already reserved a spot for you," he continues, crossing his arms. "Front row."

You tilt your head slightly, your expression unreadable.

"Don't overthink it," he says, brushing past you. "Just be there."

And just like that, you're left standing in the hallway, your mind now juggling two separate invitations.

The rest of the week, you can't escape the mounting pressure. Both Rin and Sae seem unusually focused on you, and their rivalry isn't subtle.

Rin passes you in the halls, his expression softening just enough to remind you of his earlier request.

Sae, on the other hand, doesn't bother with subtlety. During a shared class, he leans back in his chair and glances your way with an air of confidence, as if he's already won.

"Don't forget," he mouths, a small smirk playing on his lips.

Even your classmates notice the tension. Isagi corners you after school, concern written all over his face.

"Hey, uh... are you okay?" he asks. "You seem... distracted. Is it about Rin and Sae?"

You don't answer, but the faint crease in your brow is enough for him to nod knowingly.

When Saturday arrives, you find yourself staring at the clock, the weight of the decision pressing heavily on your shoulders.

Rin's match is at 3 PM. Sae's is at the same time.

You weigh your options carefully. Rin had asked first, and his request had felt more personal, less demanding. But Sae's confidence and the way he'd reserved a spot specifically for you made it clear he wouldn't take kindly to being ignored.

The idea of disappointing either of them doesn't sit well with you.

You glance at your phone, where two separate reminders for their games are saved, mocking your indecision.

Sighing, you grab your bag and head out, your destination still undecided.

By the time you arrive, the sound of cheering and the thud of soccer balls fills the air. Your steps slow as you stand at the edge of the field, your gaze flickering between the two matches happening simultaneously.

Rin is on the left field, his teal eyes scanning the crowd briefly before focusing back on the game.

On the right field, Sae moves with precision and grace, his every movement exuding confidence.

Your presence doesn't go unnoticed. Both brothers catch sight of you at different moments, their gazes lingering just long enough to make your chest tighten.

For now, you stand there, caught between the two, unsure of who to root for.
