*Vision*
I woke slowly, the sensation of golden light embracing me like a soft, warm blanket. My mind was clouded, confused, and for a moment, I wondered if I was dead.
The warmth around me felt unreal, almost unnatural, as though I was caught in some otherworldly space.
I blinked, trying to clear the fog in my mind, and as my vision began to adjust, I saw something that didn't belong. I was surrounded by towering trees, their leaves dancing in the golden light.
The scent of the forest was fresh, earthy, and vibrant. In the distance, jagged mountains loomed, their peaks shrouded in mist.
This wasn't familiar. It was unlike anything I had seen before, as if I had stepped into a world that existed beyond my own.
But the golden light—this strange, overwhelming light—obstructed my vision, casting a haze over everything. It was blinding, yet comforting.
I squinted against the brightness, trying to make sense of my surroundings when suddenly, a figure emerged from the blinding glow.
The silhouette of a man, clothed in garments that looked ancient and familiar, but I couldn't place from where. The golden light seemed to distort his features, preventing me from seeing his face. My heart raced, my confusion growing.
A voice broke through the stillness, deep and wise, carrying the weight of time itself.
"You've grown so much." the voice said, warm but distant, as if it was both near and far at once.
I blinked, still trying to process.
"Do I... know you?" I asked, squinting to get a better look.
The man chuckled softly, and I felt a strange shiver run down my spine.
"I know you," he said. "But you do not remember me."
I furrowed my brow, a mix of curiosity and unease pooling in my chest.
"Who are you? Where am I?" I demanded.
The voice fell silent for a moment, before replying, "A place you are not meant to be. You are not ready yet."
I took a step forward, my eyes narrowing as I focused on his clothes. A fleeting memory tugged at my mind, distant but undeniable. The old man from my visions—the one who had told me to run, to escape.
"That voice..." I whispered, realizing who it was. "It's you."
The figure said nothing in response, only extending an arm toward me. As his hand reached out, I braced myself, heart pounding in my chest.
"You cannot know yet," the voice said, its tone soft but resolute. "Not until you master the abilities of the Yggdrasil Healers. You've already taken a significant step by planting the Yggdrasil flower. Soon, it will connect you to us and it is then that you will fulfill the prophecy."
"Prophecy..." I murmured, the word settling heavily in my chest.
The figure gave no response, merely fading as the golden light dimmed.
Before everything faded to black, the voice spoke again, this time softer, more intimate. "Homura will tell you everything. She will guide you when the time is right."
Darkness crept in, swallowing everything.
*End of Vision*
I awoke slowly, my mind foggy and my body heavy as if I had been asleep for an eternity. I blinked a few times, trying to clear the haze from my vision, and looked around.
