During the second period of class, the students in the school were sparse. As Ren Qingqiu walked along the path, she suddenly noticed a number of folders and printed papers scattered on the ground not far away.

As the wind blew, some of the papers flew up into the air. Ren Qingqiu reached out to pick them up and found one that recorded the number, location, and time of a recent riot in the east, ending with the note, “Colonel Kong Youxi suppressed the riot and was injured.”

Flipping the paper over, she found that nothing was written on the back.

“Yes,” Qiu Xinyu replied with a wry smile, “I accidentally scattered them.”

Ren Qingqiu collected the papers from the ground and handed them to her. “Check to see if any pages are missing.”

Qiu Xinyu quickly gathered the papers and followed Ren Qingqiu to verify, saying, “Ah, thank you.”

“If you hadn’t helped me now, I might have been criticized by the instructor,” Qiu Xinyu said.
