"Okay I'll go first then!"

Landing near the coffee drinking woman, Dew squawked in order to get her attention which was a success

"What is it girl?"cooed Linda lightly scratching Dew's neck,"missed me?"

The spix purred and soon shook it off softly biting the woman's finger in a playful manner.No longer wasting time,Dew called out squawking twice startling the woman

A male spix unknown to Linda landed just behind the female.He waddled closer and Dew started preening his hair feathers with her beak

The woman's eyes grew wider than ever,not knowing what to do she called her husband,"Tulio come quick! it's Dew!"

Of course the man arrived entangled in wires from inside the tent,"what is it dear!?"he fell to the ground.

"Our Dew brought a boy!"excitedly exclaimed the woman making the doctor stand up immediately and rush at the new specimen.

"Beautiful, absolutely gorgeous,"marveled Tulio

Roberto started to tense up and even backed up behind the female for comfort.

The doctor held out his palm and waited patiently for the male to come on his own accord.Upon Dew's encouragement,the male slowly waddled, perching on his palm with caution.

Linda gently stroked Roberto on his back making him relax slightly.As the male leaned into the woman's gentle touch,the doctor took it as an opportunity to inspect the male further.He assessed the male in a mere couple of minutes and deemed him healthy and perfect in weight,height,wingspan and proportions.

"He's lovely Dew,"complimented Linda making both the spixes puff

"Linda,look,"the doctor pointed at the name tag on Roberto's leg while he was distracted,"he's a survivor,"he added to which Dew squawked possibly in agreement

After handing the male back to his partner, Dew seemed hesitant

"What is it Dew?"questioned the woman to which the female finally squawked aloud making the expert wonder too

A figure landed directly besides Dew which made the two humans confused once again,even more after she started preening his feathers like she did with Roberto

"A friend of yours?"questioned Linda knowing the answer but denying it in mind

"Impossible, utterly impossible,quick Linda get the camera!!"panicked the doctor both in excitement and fear of the unknown possibilities

The doctor coughed before commenting on his recordings,"this is record #1:our domestic female spix seems to have found a mate in a wild male spix macaw,"he zoomed in on Roberto nibbling on one of Dew's hair feathers,"the male is perfectly healthy and both seem to be sharing a deep bond.Now this is perfectly normal, however what gave us a surprise was this,"the camera now zoomed in on Felipe softly squawking at Dew, both seemed to be having a conversation in fact,"another wild male,but a scarlet macaw,now these macaws live and travel in flocks,they are usually found upstream of the Amazon river,and we are currently very far away,"the doctor emphasized on 'very' still keeping his focus on the three,"however this one seems to be alone and it also appears to share a bond with our domestic spix and not just any bond...What are your thoughts honey?"questioned Tulio now focusing on his wife

"I think it's beautiful that Dew likes someone outside of her species,it shows that love can be found even in the wild!"gushed the woman

"Yes but honey,if they really are mated then Dew might just be the first ever recorded macaw in the wild to initiate a polygamic bond and first ever spix macaw to mate outside of her species pool.Now usually macaws of different species are captive bred for aesthetic purposes illegally for exotic pet trade and legally by scientists to understand hybridization better, however their offspring often result in having health complications even if they have the same order and class.And even if they grow up to be healthy,they are born sterile and cannot pass their genes in the future."
