"So, Liz," Kelso started, leaning against the locker next to hers. The school day had just ended, and after leaving their last class together, stopped by her locker so she could grab her backpack. "I heard you let Eric borrow your chemistry notes. Is there any way I can get in on that?"

She smiled to herself as she shoved her books into her bag. "What, did you skip class again?"

"Yeah," he admitted with a sigh. "Jackie has study hall that period, so we met up outside the gym to—"

"Okay, okay!" Liz was quick to cut him off. "I get it. You don't need to tell me all the details."

"So, is that a 'yes', then?" He perked up.

"Sure." She shrugged before slamming her locker closed. "I don't care. Eric still has them, though. Just ask him."

Kelso's face lit up at her words. "Thanks, Liz! You're the best."

"I know—"

"Hey, Elizabeth?" A voice pulled them from their conversation. Liz and Kelso turned to find none other than Jake Bradley, dressed in his varsity football jacket, facing them.

Liz immediately smiled. "Jake. Hey. What's up?"

"I, uh, I was wondering if we could move our tutoring session to Thursday night instead?" He asked, mindlessly adjusting the bag strap over his shoulder. "They moved practice to Wednesday night."

"Oh, yeah. Sure. No big deal." Liz waved it off.

He shot her a grin. "Cool. Same place and time?"

"Works for me."

"Alright. Cool. Well, I'll uh, see you tomorrow in class."

"Yup. See ya, Jake." The two waved goodbye to each other as he took off down the hall, meeting up with his group of football friends.

Kelso's mouth fell open once he was out of sight. "Liz, since when have you been tutoring the Jake Bradley?"

"A couple of weeks," Liz said with a shrug, the two walking towards the door.

"Seriously??" When she nodded, Kelso dropped his voice. "So, what's his deal? Is he cool?"

"Yeah. He's a nice guy." She shot him a look. "Why?"

"Well, he's friends with Destroy and Giveback, and we all know they're real assholes."

Liz slowly nodded, thinking back to the kegger they threw. The two had been there—and definitely ruined it—but Jake never showed up. Not that it mattered to her. She wasn't helping him with math at that point. "No, he's not like them. He's way nicer and way less dumb."

"That's cool." Kelso grinned down at her.

Liz wanted to add that Jake was also way more attractive than his doofus friends, but, considering she was talking to Kelso, kept her mouth firmly shut.

As the two finally stepped outside, they found Hyde already standing by the Cruiser, shivering in the cold. When he looked over at them, relief washed over his face.

"Oh, thank God," he breathed, already reaching for the car door handle. "Let's get out of here. I've been freezing for the past ten minutes."

Liz glanced around, confused when she didn't see her brother anywhere nearby. "Whoa, hold on a second. I don't have the keys."

Hyde's face dropped. "What do you mean?"

"It's Eric's day to drive, not mine."

"He's not with you?"
