Liz broke out into a smile as her boyfriend walked through the back door and into the kitchen. Placing the plates of breakfast down on the table, she wrapped her arms around his neck to plant a quick kiss on his lips. "Hey."

"Hey, Lizzie," Hyde greeted back with a smirk. He then forced himself to pull away, turning to her parents. "Hey, Mrs. Forman. Hey, Red."

Kitty watched as Kelso and Fez were short to follow him in. "Hello, boys. You're up bright and early this morning."

"Yeah, we're going to Funland. It's super fun," Kelso said, taking a seat in Eric's usual chair.

"Oh, Red, remember how we used to take the twins there when they were little?" Kitty asked.

Red chuckled at a memory. "Remember how I used to get on the rollercoaster with Eric, and then, just before we took off, I'd jump out and wave goodbye? Boy, did he scream."

"And that's why I refused to go on that thing ever since," Liz muttered with a shake of her head.

"Oh." Red turned to his daughter, reaching out to pat her hand. "You know I never would've done that to you, sweetheart."

Liz's eyes grew wide. "Five year old me didn't know that!"

Kitty let out a nervous laugh, glancing around the table. "Well, it sounds like fun."

"Super fun!" As excited as Kelso was, his smile was quick to fade. "And we figured Eric could use some fun, you know, since he and Donna broke up."

"What?" Red scowled.

"Broke up?" Kitty echoed before glancing at her daughter. "Elizabeth, did you know about this?"

"Yeah, uh... sorry," Liz managed with a nervous chuckle. "I would've told you, but... he asked me not to. He's just embarrassed and wants to be left alone."

Hyde nodded. "Yeah, because Donna dumped his ass."

"That's funny," Fez spoke up from above them. "I heard Eric was the one who dumped Donna."

"It was mutual, okay?" Liz insisted, throwing her hands up.

"Well, sure," Red muttered, unconvinced.

Kitty shook her head. "I don't think so."

"Yeah, right." Hyde laughed.

"Guys, come on," Liz hissed, sending a scowl at everyone who was chuckling. "Eric's a total wreck. I went in there earlier, and he was actually growing some facial hair."

Hyde's mouth fell open before he slowly turned to look over at her. "No way. Man, this must be bad, then."

"Oh..." Kitty glanced nervously back at the door. "Maybe I should go check on him."

"It's okay, Mom," Liz said, waving her back down. "I'll go talk to him, okay? Maybe I can coax him out of that room."

Despite her daughter's assurance, Kitty still got up and scurried after her towards the door. "Okay, okay. Well, just, tell Eric that I love him, and that if he needs anything, to just let me know!"

Liz sighed as she entered the silence of the living room. When she found herself upstairs, standing in front of her brother's door, she hesitated briefly. It didn't take her twin instincts to know how hard Eric was taking the breakup. She just hoped she could find all the right things to say.

She slowly entered the room, only to see something black being hurtled her way. A yelp escaped her lips as she braced for impact, but it ended up hitting the wall to her left.

"Whoops. Sorry, Liz," Eric muttered, not even turning to look at her. His clock radio, he figured, deserved to be thrown, as it kept playing "All By Myself" by Eric Carmen or "Donna" by Ritchie Valens. His sister just happened to walk in at the worst time.
