The darkened shipping portal buzzed with tension as Army squad moved in, weapons drawn and senses sharp. Metal containers loomed overhead. The tip they'd received had been vague, but a trusted agent had confirmed its authenticity, leading them here. Now, the air was thick with the acrid scent of saltwater and oil...and danger.

Gunfire erupted, sharp bangs echoing across the shipping yard. The culprits, a notorious gang smuggling illegal arms, had detected their approach and opened fire. Bullets ricocheted off the containers.

Wooshik crouched behind a stack of crates, his sharp eyes scanning the chaotic scene. Beside him, he pointed toward Seojoon. "Seojoon! Take Sunghwan and a few others. Circle around behind the containers. If we can flank them, we'll trap them between us."

Seojoon gave a sharp nod, signaling to Sunghwan and three other officers. "Let's move!" he barked, leading the small group as they darted between the containers.

The crossfire was relentless. Sunghwan pressed his back to a container, breathing heavily. "This isn't just a smuggling op. They're heavily armed," he muttered to Seojoon, who was peeking around the corner, trying to gauge the enemy's position.

"Doesn't matter," Seojoon replied, his tone steady. "We finish this here. They don't leave this yard."

Sunghwan nodded, gripping his rifle tightly as they moved again, keeping low. They were nearly at a position to flank the gang when disaster struck.

Sunghwan raised his rifle to cover Seojoon as the latter signaled the others to advance. But when Sunghwan pulled the trigger, his gun jammed, emitting a hollow click. His eyes widened in horror. "Damn it!" he hissed, quickly trying to clear the jam.

"What's wrong?" Seojoon whispered sharply, turning his head.

"My gun—it's jammed!" Sunghwan said, panic creeping into his voice as he struggled with the weapon. His fingers worked frantically, but the mechanism wouldn't budge.

Before Seojoon could respond, Sunghwan's eyes darted to a figure emerging from behind a stack of crates on the far side. A gang member, his weapon trained directly on Seojoon, who was exposed. Time seemed to slow.

"Seojoon!" Sunghwan yelled, dropping his jammed rifle. Without hesitation, he lunged forward, pushing Seojoon out of the way just as the enemy pulled the trigger.

The sharp crack of the shot rang out, and Sunghwan staggered back, a bright red stain spreading across his chest. He fell to his knees, gasping for breath, as Seojoon scrambled to his side, his expression one of shock and fury.

"No!!!" Seojoon shouted,

In Jungkook's office, the blinds were drawn and the soft hum of the air conditioning was the only sound for a moment as Jimin sat across from Jungkook, his expression a mixture of shock and disbelief.

Jimin leaned forward, his voice barely above a whisper. "He committed suicide?"

Jungkook nodded grimly, leaning back in his chair, running a hand through his hair. "Yeah, that's what Mom told me. Two weeks after the ruling. No one even talks about it. It's like he was erased."

Jimin exhaled sharply, his hands fidgeting with the edge of his jacket. "Erased is the right word, Jungkook. We're talking about someone who doesn't even exist on the internet. No records, no mentions, nothing. It's like the system swallowed him whole and spat out a blank slate. How can we even find out where he lived, let alone his family or anyone who might've known him?"
