The air in the club was thick with the heavy pulse of bass and neon lights flickering overhead. In the back corner, away from the main crowd, the small group gathered quietly, trying to stay unnoticed. Jungkook sat with his back turned to the bar, his eyes trained on the door to the private room where the dealer was inside. The seconds dragged on, the tension palpable.

As the minutes ticked by, Jungkook's focus wavered, his thoughts turning inward. The recording device he'd slipped into the dancer's pocket was now their only piece of tangible evidence.

He glanced over at Taehyung, who stood near the shadows, eyes sharp and calculating. Jungkook couldn't help but ask, his voice low, "Will this be enough?" His gaze lingered on the edge of uncertainty that seemed to flicker in Taehyung's usually controlled demeanor.

Taehyung's jaw clenched slightly, but his voice was steady. "This will prove that the defense minister is involved in the illegal smuggling of weapons for the country," he said, his eyes narrowing slightly. "It's all in the details."

Jungkook let out a breath, his mind working over the next steps. "Hyung," he said, turning to Hoseok, "you're fine with this, right?"

Hoseok nodded, his expression serious. "Anything to get that man behind bars and make him pay for what he did." His voice was sharp, edged with a kind of quiet fury.

Jungkook's eyes flicked to Jimin, who was subtly moving through the crowd to make sure everything was in place. "Is the waiter ready?" he asked.

Jimin nodded, his lips pressed together. "As soon as the dealers leave, he'll go in and deliver the message. After that, we'll need to get the waiter out of here, far away from the scene."

Jungkook looked back at Taehyung, his eyes hard. "And I'll try to get the device from the girl." He turned his attention to Yoongi, who was lingering near the back of the crowd, observing the entire scene. "We'll need to be ready to hide when they come out. We don't know how fast this will escalate."

Yoongi's voice was low, full of concern. "If they catch wind of this, things could get messy. Stay alert."

Jungkook nodded, his posture tense. "Got it."

An hour passed. The atmosphere in the club remained tense, the dealers still not showing up. Jungkook's patience was thinning, but he knew the plan had to go smoothly. Everything hinged on their next move.

Suddenly, the door to the private room opened, and the dealer stepped out, flanked by a few of his goons. It was the signal.

Hoseok moved swiftly, guiding the waiter through a back exit, while Jimin and Yoongi remained in the crowd, eyes scanning. The mission was progressing as planned, but there was one more critical step.

Jungkook slipped the note into the waiter's hand as he passed him. "Here," he said, his voice quiet, but firm. "Get out of here fast after this, alright?"

The waiter nodded, looking slightly anxious as he headed for the back room. Jungkook watched him go, feeling his heartbeat quicken.

Taehyung's voice interrupted his thoughts, the quiet tension in it unmistakable. "What's in that note?"

Jungkook grinned, his eyes narrowing. "Something that should be enough for them to break their façade." His tone was a little too casual, but it didn't fool Taehyung.

Taehyung's mind raced—he hadn't told Seokjin's father about this plan. He hadn't even mentioned it to Seokjin. This was a huge risk. But he couldn't back out now. He had already crossed too many lines. He looked at Jungkook, but said nothing, his expression hard to read.
