Andrea and Jaemin arrived at Mark's house, greeted by the familiar sounds of laughter and chatter drifting from the living room. The warm, welcoming atmosphere instantly put them at ease. As they entered, they were met with a chorus of hellos from their friends who were already sprawled out on the couches and beanbags, ready for their movie night.

"Ay, you two!" Mark called out, waving them over enthusiastically. "We've got everything set up. Horror?"

Jaemin grinned, nudging Andrea playfully. "Well, I'm always ready for that. I know she's not though."

Andrea chuckled, settling down on the couch beside Jaemin. The room was dimly lit, with only a few candles casting flickering shadows on the walls. A stack of popcorn bowls and candy lay on the coffee table, within easy reach of everyone. The scent of buttered popcorn and sugary treats filled the air, adding to the cozy atmosphere.

Victoria leaned in, grabbing a handful of popcorn. "I don't think it'll be that bad, to be honest. You know, we're thugs," she said with a smirk.

"We picked out 'The Conjuring,'" Jisung announced, holding up the DVD case. "It looked really scary."

Renjun rolled his eyes dramatically. "Yeah, it's the scariest movie out there," he replied sarcastically, earning a few chuckles from the group.

As the opening credits rolled, the room fell into an expectant hush. The suspenseful music set the tone, and everyone quickly became engrossed in the unfolding story. Andrea felt her heart rate quicken, clutching a pillow as the first jump scare made the entire group jump and laugh nervously.

Throughout the movie, the friends exchanged glances, whispered comments, and shared nervous giggles. Haechan and Chenle huddled together, occasionally peeking through their fingers during the intense scenes. Mark, the self-proclaimed horror movie expert, tried to maintain his composure but couldn't hide his occasional flinches. The flickering candlelight cast eerie shadows on the walls, adding to the tension.

Jaemin's arm brushed against Andrea's, a comforting presence amidst the growing tension. She glanced at him, appreciating the familiar sense of security his presence brought. As the movie reached its climax, the room was filled with gasps and murmurs, everyone fully engrossed in the terrifying tale.

When the credits finally rolled, a collective sigh of relief swept through the group. The lights came back on, and the room buzzed with excited chatter as they recounted their favorite scenes and jump scares.

"Well, that was something!" Haechan exclaimed, stretching his legs. "I can't believe how scared we all got. That was lame of us."

"Ho, who's we?" Victoria asked rhetorically, clearly acting like she hadn't been the most scared of the whole group.

The room fell silent as everyone stared at her, raising their eyebrows.

Victoria noticed the blank stares she was receiving. "Damn, tough crowd, tough crowd," she said nonchalantly, causing a ripple of laughter to break the tension.
