The sound of clinking dishes and muffled chatter filled the mansion's spacious kitchen. It was mid-morning, and Andrea stood at the counter, meticulously pouring cereal into a bowl with what could only be described as unnecessary focus. She had already spotted Ethan casually leaning against the fridge, scrolling through his phone like he wasn't the most intimidatingly cool person in the house. What was she supposed to say?

"Good morning," Ethan greeted suddenly, glancing up as if he'd sensed her inner monologue spiraling.

Andrea froze for a split second before recovering with a grin. "Morning. Don't tell me you're one of those people who skips breakfast."

He smirked, pushing off the fridge. "Do I look like someone who skips meals?" He motioned toward his broad frame, and Andrea rolled her eyes as she opened the fridge for milk.

"Well, no, but imagine if I said yes. Instant ego deflation." She shook her head mock-seriously as she poured milk into her bowl. "Tragic."

Ethan chuckled, clearly amused. "You've got some bite this morning, huh?"

"I've been practicing," she shot back with a smirk, taking her bowl and settling into one of the stools. Totally calm. Totally normal.

Ethan grabbed a banana from the counter and leaned on the opposite side of the island. "You're doing well. No fainting, no squeaks. Impressive progress."

Andrea laughed, taking a bite of her cereal. "Don't jinx it. If I faceplant in training later, I'm blaming you."

"Fair enough," he said with a grin, peeling his banana.

Moments later, the kitchen door creaked open, and in spilled Jaemin, Victoria, and Chenle, loud as ever. They froze in their tracks, all three sets of eyes locking onto Andrea, who was very much not hyperventilating or stammering in Ethan's presence.

Instead, Andrea was sitting across from him at the island, cracking jokes and looking like they were old friends. Ethan laughed at something she said, and for a moment, the room felt like it was tilting.

Victoria recovered first, dramatically clutching her chest. "Oh. My. God. Who are you, and what have you done with Andrea Jeong?"

Chenle, on the other hand, gawked openly. "No way. This can't be real. What simulation are we living in?"

Jaemin narrowed his eyes, stepping closer and squinting at Andrea like she was an exhibit at a museum. "This has to be an illusion. Where's the real Andrea? The one who squeaked and forgot how to breathe?"

Andrea rolled her eyes, placing her spoon down deliberately. "Okay, calm down. Do I really give off that much chaotic energy?"

"Yes," all three of them said in unison.

Victoria pointed accusingly. "Ma'am, you were literally hiding behind me yesterday when he walked into the room, and now you're acting like he's your neighbor or something. Explain yourself."
