You had almost completely forgotten the wedding was taking place outside. Of course, it was, how could anyone go to Greece and not take advantage of its beauty. It'd be a complete waste to have it inside.
That's what you thought anyway.
Osamu had sent you a text just less than an hour before the wedding to come to the room where the Miya family was. Of course, you headed down as soon as you finished getting ready. You did your makeup, which wasn't something you had done this nice in a while. You didn't want to overdo it.
The only person you wanted to impress anyway was Osamu.
When you put on the dress you bought you felt tinges of excitement and nerves throughout your body. You thought you looked more than good and you loved the color on yourself. You had to remind yourself to get a picture for Ema's Grandma at the wedding.
You have to ask a few hotel staff how to get to the room Osamu texted you but it didn't take long to find it. When you reached the double doors you balled up your fist and knocked twice. Just loud enough for the family inside to hear you.
Mrs. Miya is the one to answer the door and her eyes immediately brighten at the sight of you in your dress. "Oh my goodness! Y/n you look absolutely beautiful!" she gasps as she gestures for you to step into the room.
Your eyes immediately fall on Osamu who is helping Atsumu with his tie. Just as you look at him though, his eyes seem to glance up at yours before doing a double take.
"Oh, wow," The brunette whispers as he stops fiddling with his brother's tie. His mouth is gape and you can't but feel like his gaze isn't wavering from you. You dart your eyes over to the groom who looks at his incomplete tie.
"Samu are you serious? She looks great and all, but I'm getting married and I need help with this stupid tie!"
"I'll help you son." Mr. Miya offers, coming to his son's aid.
Meanwhile, you keep your eyes on Tsumu and congratulate him, "I'm happy for you Tsumu, I wish you and Gisela nothing but the best." The blond smiles at your kind words as his father tightens his tie. "Aw, thanks Y/n!" the man smiles approaching you with open arms.
You proudly hug the groom and then he whispers something in your ear. "I also have a surprise for you," As the words left his mouth you furrowed your brows, confused.
Atsumu begins to clear his throat and he starts to address you and his brother. "I forgot to inform the two of you that as of this morning, there will be no more assigned dance partners," he says clapping his hands together once. "Gisela and I decided this morning that it's just too formal and we'd prefer if couples dance with each other and stuff." he shrugs.
"Was that last bit necessary?" Osamu furrows his brows.
"What? I wasn't implying anything! I'm just saying, it'll cause less drama on my special day!" he smiles before sending a wink your way. It's so quick you almost miss, but you're pretty sure Osamu didn't catch it.
You were pretty decent at reading Atsumu only because he was a lot more open in comparison to his brother. You could easily piece together what he was attempting to do. Especially after your chat this morning. Now this conveniently times news.
"So I guess this means I don't have to dance now." you let out a sigh of relief. The blond whips his head to you and you see his eyebrows knit together. "Well you should," he suggests through gritted teeth. "With who?" you feign ignorance.
Atsumu's eyes immediately dart over to his twin brother. "Samu of course! You two have to dance together for me, it's only right."
Osmau's eyes meet your one again and you swallow hard at the eye contact. "You're right," you nod along "I guess I don't see the problem with that." You didn't notice but Osamu had gotten much closer to you in the few moments your focus was on the groom.
When Atsumu turned to talk to his parents behind him, Osmau took this opportunity to lean over and whisper another compliment to you. "You look beautiful Y/n" Your breathing hitches at the compliment and you almost struggle to get words out after.
"Thank you Samu," you smile turning to face him, this time you finally notice the change in his appearance compared to how he had looked this morning. "You look handsome." you compliment back with a nod.
The corners of his lips quirk up just the lightest at the compliment. "Do you know why I was supposed to come in here?" You question him, in a successful attempt to change the subject. "Oh, I think that small announcement was probably it," the brunette says leaning away from you. "Then I guess I should probably leave and find my seat outside." You laugh nervously.
"Wait!" Mrs. Miya's voice cuts through the air like a sharp knife. "I need to get a picture of the three of you," She says, pushing the groom toward the two of you.
She rearranges you so that you're in the center of both men, and Atsumu takes it as an opportunity to complain.
"Ma! How come I'm not in the middle, I'm getting married!" She immediately shushes her son with a wave of her hand and rolls her eyes. "This is the same way you've always been arranged for photos, now smile!"
The older woman was holding up an older digital camera–the same one she had used for the past nearly twenty years to photograph the three of you. Before she could snap a photo Osamu snakes his hand onto the back of your waist and leans in for the photo. The gesture does not help ease the butterfly feeling in your stomach.
Meanwhile, Atsumu has his arm over your shoulder, which doesn't have the same effect on you.
You just smile brightly at the camera just as the flash goes off and Mrs. Miya gasps with approval. "Perfect!" she squeals as she turns the camera off.
"Okay then, Y/n you can come with us to find our seats." Mr. Miya speaks again clearing his throat. The man takes his wife's hand and leads the way out of the room.
You quietly follow behind the couple and glance back at the twin with most of your focus on the brunette. "See you guys out there."
