When you finally see the decorated beach your jaw almost hits the floor.
Lilies adorned nearly every inch of the surrounding area, from the outside pillars to the backs of chairs. The pillars bordered the closed-off section of the beach where the ceremony was being held, luckily not on sand but on a built-in linen-colored wooden paneled floor.
You can't help but admire the beautifully decorated space with wide eyes as you walk down the aisle behind the parents of your best friend to find your seats. "This is incredible," you whisper to the couple as you sit beside Mrs. Miya. I know right; I helped Gisela decide on the flowers, " the woman whispers back. You smile at the thought of the woman going through flower options with the bride before you glance around the Groom's side of the aisle to see who was in attendance.
A few rows back you could see the rest of the Inariazaki crew along with a few familiar MSBY faces sitting and chatting. You saw a few cousins of the twins that you've met only a handful of times throughout the years. Along with who you think you recognize as the twins Volleyball coach from high school.
On the bride's side, you don't recognize anyone obviously. But you did immediately spot Gisela's Mom in the front. They had such strong genes you could tell it was her. She and her daughter practically shared a face.
Your wandering eyes stop when you see Atsumu appear from the side of the altar with the minister. They seem to be chatting it up as the blond nervously fidgets with the cuffs of his suit. "O,h there's Tsumu." Mr. Miya points out noticing his son.
"That means it starting soon," Mrs. Miya informs you. Just as she does the previous song that was quietly playing as people arrived switched to a new song.
First to walk down the aisle is Osamu and Freya with their arms interlocked. Maid of Honor and the Best man. Your eyes stay on Osamu as he walks down the aisle with a small smile on his face.
All you can focus on is his appearance and how different he seemed to have appeared, though you just saw him moments ago. It was as if the lighting on the beach had changed to a pink hue just around him which made him look dreamy and unreal. His brown hair was styled to look slightly messy.
Somehow in the moment, he did not resemble his twin brother in the slightest.
He was just Osamu.
As the duo made it closer to the altar your best friend glanced over in your direction and his small smile turned into a wide grin.
His smile did something it had seemed to do the past few days to you– which was make your heart flutter. You smile back at him while sending him a thumbs up to tell him he looks great. Freya and Osamu then unlock their arms and walk to their sides of the aisle. Freya is on the bride's side and Osamu is behind his brother.
The brunette looks back over his shoulder to give you another smile to which you physically can't help but return
The rest of the wedding party comes out soon after, groomsmen with interlocked arms with the bridesmaids. You missed most of them walking down the aisle because every chance you took you glanced over to the Best Man at the altar.
A few times doing so, he caught you staring at him and he repressed a laugh each time.
You couldn't even say you were embarrassed to have been caught because you wanted to get caught staring. Admiring him really.
In the past few days, it had felt like you had taken him for granted in the past few years. It was never too late to start admiring the man you called your best friend–the very same man who you were sure you were in love with.
The music changed once more, signaling for everyone to stand up and turn their focus to the back where Gisela was turning the corner in her dress.
You heard multiple gasps at the sight of the bride who looked like royalty in her dress. Her father was waiting just a few steps ahead of her to escort her down the aisle. You could see his eyes getting glossy from where you stood—which was saying a lot.
You quickly glance to the altar to see Atsumu who was nearly sobbing at the sight of his soon-to-be wife.
That's what did it for you, that's what cued your waterworks.
In that moment you truly felt nothing but happiness for the couple. If you weren't sure you didn't have feelings for the man, you were more than positive now.
As the bride neared the front you couldn't help but try to stop your tears from ruining your own makeup.
By the time she had made it to the edge of the altar, her dad took her father gave her a kiss on the cheek before taking his seat in the front, next to her mother. The bride steps unto the altar and in front of her Maid of honor with her eyes now locked on Atsumu.
You see the couple whisper to each other, but you're unsure of what they're saying. Your eyes subconsciously wander behind Atsumu again as you feel eyes piercing into your head. Osamu his string at you with a worried expression as he mouths. "Are you okay?" You nod at his question and everyone takes a seat.
There's a brief period of silence until the minister speaks. "We are gathered here today, to witness the union of Gisela Brinkmann and Atsumu Miya in holy matrimony..."
The words begin to fade and you feel as if you're watching a silent movie as the events in front of you unfold. Somehow the vows come quicker than you realize and Atsumu starts off with his.
His voice starts in a crack and you can tell he's tearing up—despite not being able to see his face from where you sat. As he continues his vows you feel your eyes well up with tears once more. While your vision grows blurry you're trying your best to focus on the couple whose big day it is. Still, you can't help but let your eyes fall on Osamu again.
Osamu's gaze is fixed on the couple in front of him and his hands are behind his back as he carefully listens to his brother's vows. The only thing you hear at the end of Atsumu's vows is something that sends a feeling of warmth through your body.
"I want nothing more than to spend the rest of my life with you, forever, in every lifetime."
The words play over and over again in your head, you hear them in Atsumu's voice. Then suddenly the words are being said to you by the brunette twin. The final sign of confirmation you need. This is the moment you know that you feel nothing but complete love and adoration for Osamu Miya.
You want him to be the most important person in your life forever, and you want to be his.
