180 - Lazy Pile

"Well I already got the weight of the ocean around us. I don't need you adding to it," I said as I closed my eyes again.

"What? Like this?" I heard before feeling weight suddenly pressing down on my form. I looked and saw Dream had pushed himself off the edge and his weight pulled him down onto me.

"Hey. Get off."

"Mmm, no. It's pretty cozy in here." He said as he laid over my tail, the semi translucent fins of his tail ends landed on my shoulder. I shifted a bit, my tail adjusting under him.

"You're heavy, get off."

"Hmm, nah. I think I deserve to relax too and these scales are surprisingly comfortable."

"Hey." I protested again and wriggled a bit. He slipped into an empty spot around my tail. Instinctively I tensed up a bit.

"I could probably squeeze you to death." I huffed at him and he just looked amused.

"You won't, at most you'd squeeze me but stop once I'm uncomfortable." He sounded so sure, didn't care if he was a bother. Is this him actually relaxing and not trying to please everyone?

"It's irritating how confident you are." I said with a huff.

"How do you think my brother felt?" He asked while smiling.

"...Ink is still worse." I muttered with an eyeroll trying to push off Dream, half heartedly. I was currently too lazy to give much effort into it.

It would've been tolerable since it was just him, but at some point of me pushing Dream to no results Fresh came back to the area. There wasn't much hesitation on his end as he joined the pile making me groan.

"Fresh, get out," I complained.

"Nah brah. Its cozy and 'lax in here."

"Ugh, you're both squishing me." I complained more as Fresh made himself comfortable and I moved so part of my fins weren't being squished. The three of us were now just in this small space.

"Come on brah I'm totes not heavy." Fresh looked smug, his hands resting behind his head.

"You are." If we were normal skeletons then this wouldn't be a problem but we weren't normal. The three tails took up a lot of space.

"Nah you love us." Fresh said and I scoffed.

"I wish I could kill you. My first attempts were failures."

"That's not you trying end me brah. That was... reflex training." He shrugged and I gave a weak glare.

"Funk off." I was censored and his grin grew.

"Never."

"I'm definitely not taking you to other aus like this," I said in my annoyance.

"Like that naga one you told me about?" I heard from the side and saw Sci and Outer have join looking down at the gathering of bones and scales with varying expressions.

"Naga?" I heard Outer asked with a raised brow as he placed his hands on the edge of the crow's nest.

"Its a jungle-" Sci started but I cut him off.

"Don't give Fresh ideas Sci. If he's like this now I don't need him with a constricting altered body."

"Buzz kill brah." I heard from the menace and I waved him off.

"I'm trying to relax. Not get stressed." The rest just started talking casually but I was slowly just zoning out and not really paying attention. Until I felt a tap and saw it came from Sci.

"So, Error, you ok in there? I know you're getting used to us and touch quite well but you've been not moving for a bit."

"Honestly, I think my tail fell asleep." Hearing that Dream and Fresh untangled themselves from me and I pushed myself up of the crow's nest edge. Sure enough I felt a buzzing tingle start to spread.

"Yep, circulation."

"Are you ok?" Dream asked and I gave him a look.

"Oh now you're concerned. I'm fine. I just need to swim- is that a whale?" I cut myself off as I saw a large creature just slowly swimming by and swam to see it better. The others were quick to follow. To my luck it was a whale and not something like an Orca though I couldn't recall what kind of whale it was. Most to me just classified as big.

It was just a reminder of why I wanted to do this. The gentle giant was as curious of us as we were of them and upon swimming to their other side we saw they had a baby with them. It was surreal seeing something so big just living it's own life and the rest of the passing time was just us all as a collective group swimming around to find creatures.

A calm adventure like I had wanted.
