Control (A Shadow The Hedgehog x Reader Story)

Shadow made a stop at Tails' workshop on the way. As he arrived at the door he banged on it loudly, shouting "open up fox!"

Tails arrived quickly, opening the door. "Hi... Shadow?" he said as Shadow entered the workshop, not waiting for an invitiation. "Where is he?" he asked, looking around. "Sonic I assume you mean?" Tails asked, before continuing with "he was about to go for a run, I think" wondering what Shadow wanted with him anyway.

"Ah the ultimate lifeform, how may I help you on this glorious day" he announced as he entered the room stretching, noticing Shadow's foul mood. "Your relationship not work out?" he joked trying to read his expression. Shadow's face had gone back to the same as before y/n came along, in the eyes of Sonic - grumpy. "Eggman has kidnapped her, I thought I'd give you the chance to join me in pummeling his face into the ground" he responded. "Sounds like fun, I'm in" Sonic responded, "see ya later buddy" he said saying goodbye to Tails as he ran out of the door. "Does he know where he's going?" Tails asked Shadow, who stood there with his arms crossed, shaking his head.

"Where are we going exactly?" Sonic asked having run back to the door.

"Shadow to Rouge, have you still got your earpiece in? I need your assistance..."

"Urgh, what happened?" Y/n asked herself out loud holding tightly onto her head again. "Waking up, tied up, door open, floor" she managed to back track to herself. She tried to think harder, tried to remember. "Who am I, and why am I here?" She questioned herself again out loud.

She was in a different room to before, noticing she was still tied up, now with various cuts and bruises along her arms. She was now laid on a hard bed though, but it was comfier than the floor at least. The nausea and dizzyness was back as she laid there trying to work through the jumbled thoughts in her head. Her thoughts was soon interupted by someone entering the room.

"You're awake" the voice said, as she turned herself to look towards it, trying to sit herself upright and put on a brave facade. She looked up seeing a bald man with an atrocious mustache, standing at the end of the bed. 

"And you are?" she asked somewhat sarcastically. "Well thats not very nice, I am the great Doctor Eggman" he proclaimed proudly in response, standing tall. She tried not to laugh "You're a doctor of food?" she giggled to herself. "No!" he answered angrily in response, as she stopped laughing. 

"Why am I here? Why can't I remember anything? Why am I tied up?" She threw non stop questions at him. "You got a little tangled in something that shouldn't have involved you, what was you doing in Shadows home?" he questionned. "Shadow?" she asked back, pausing before continuing with "who is Shadow? I don't know a Shadow... Why can't I remember anything" she questionned concerned.

The doctor hummed, looking at her and trying to read if she was lying. He just nodded adding "you took a few hard hits, you probably just have amnesia" before casually exiting the room, locking the door behind him. 

"Brilliant, thanks" she huffed to herself. "Amnesia huh..." she questionned, wondering how she gets herself out of this one.

Back to Shadow and Sonic, and Shadow was angrily speeding through the city following location instructions from Rouge through his earpiece. 

"What was the sudden change in urgency anyway?" Rouge questionned through the earpiece, sensing Shadow's change in tone. "He's blown up my appartment and kidnapped y/n thats what" he growled, still charging in the directions Rouge was giving, now beginning to glow red. She didn't respond to that 

"You need to take a breather Shadow, I know you're angry but being this angry isn't going to help y/n at all" Sonic told him as they arrived at the blimps location, now parked up outside a big metal looking base. Shadow just growled in response, focused on taking back the thing he loved most.

They walked up to the front door, and just as Sonic was about to press the doorbell Shadow punched the door open, sending it slamming down to the ground with a metal clank. "Guess that works too" Sonic huffed, following Shadow in and they both used homing attack on several eggpawns that came their way. 

"I'll leave you to it, Rouge signing out" Shadow heard through the earpiece, knowing Rouge had heard the crashing and decided it was best to leave them both to it now. They soon arrived at an open door, hearing Eggman typing away on a computer, and Shadow stormed in, followed swiftly by a now slightly nervous looking Sonic, noticing Shadow hadn't calmed down one bit.

"WHERE IS SHE" Shadow growled loudly, making Eggman jump out of his skin a little. "A hello would have been nice, Shadow" he retorted quickly. Shadows eyes started to glow a dangerous red, anger rising inside of him again. Sonic just stood watching, bringing his hand to his temples rubbing them, mumbling "you're really asking for it".

Shadow quickly pinned Eggman against a wall with a force that made items fall off the shelf. "I'll ask one last time" he paused, pushing him into the wall with more force before continuing. "Where. Is. She" he growled again. "She's safe, for now" he smirked, watching Shadow get angrier. 

Sonic took a deep breath, pulling Shadow away much to his dislike. "Look pummel him another time, you just go and find y/n and I'll make sure he doesn't try any funny business whilst you do" Sonic said blocking any potential punches Shadow was about to start throwing. "Fine, but this is not over" Shadow growled, walking out the room and launching a chaos spear towards one of the computers, shattering it and making Eggman flinch. 

He got to the doorway, pausing and looking over his shoulder, glaring straight at Eggman. "If... When I find her, if she's injured, you are dead Doctor" he threatens, before carrying on down the corridor.
