Landing gracefully besides the chicks.He took a look at the thing his talons were gripping
"Oh would you look at that-"

The female spix gasped and flew towards the unconscious male,

"Beto,Beto,Beto,Beto,"she continued to nag him till he woke up and as he did she immediately hugged his spirit out of him

"Wha-"questioned the male groggily

The scarlet landed behind Dew and showed him the plastic ring coated in shiny oil.

The male gasped and held out his talons wiggling it for affirmation,he whispered barely audible to the lot,"I'm free."

"Welcome ladies and gentlemen!!!"shouted Dew with a certain glow around her, possibly due to the setting sun.The gathered crowd of colourful feathers underneath Christ gave their best cheer,"Now as you know,the carnival this year not being held in Rio,"the crowd grew silent mummering amongst themselves,"It is being held in the Heart of Amazon instead!Your hosts!Pedro!Nico!And Rafael themselves ventured deep into the jungle in order to bring you a never before seen talent to city birds like you!"

And the crowd grew wild,"join us on this great adventure!And to make sure you won't be disappointed, I've prepared a sample for you ! Please welcome our two esteemed guests for they have flown two thousand miles just to be here in Rio and invite you to their homes."

Upon Dew's announcement the scarlet and spix arrived with a generous crowd supporting them.
Of course it didn't take long for them to notice the never before seen male spix.The only male spix they had so far was Blu,and surprisingly he was no where to be found at the moment

In the midst of their wondering,the spotlight first shone at Roberto as he started his acoustics.Charming the crowd whenever he swayed, specifically the females.

"Nossa, nossa,Assim você me mata,"the crowd followed,not surprisingly knowing the lyrics for of course it was well known among the birds of Rio.And how did an Amazonian native know the song?-well, courtesy of Carla and her Aunt."Ai, se eu te pego,Ai, ai, se eu te pego~"

"Yeah they're my friends!whoo-hoo!"cheered the bulldog

The second spotlight shone on the scarlet marking his turn,"Delícia, delícia
Assim você me mata,"swaying his wings,he looked the substitute host, mischievously winking at her and focusing on the audience once more,"Ai, se eu te pego,Ai, ai, se eu te pego~"

"Now wasn't that amazing!!!Give it up for Roberto and Felipe!!Now that you've seen the sample, wouldn't you like to see the actual thing!?"questioned Dew earning shouts of agreement from the crowd,"That's the spirit!"she exclaimed,"two days later by sunrise,we will lead you folks to the Amazon.So please do come if you're interested."

"Linda!Tulio!!Fernando!?"sqwacked Dew outside their window.Tapping the surface with the tip of her beak until the young boy answerd her call.

Fernando's movements were swift as he opened the window allowing her and the others to enter."Dew!How are you girl?"he cooed slightly rubbing her head,"you got company?"he questioned earning a squawk.

Coming out in night robes,the ornithologist and wife grew surprised at the unexpected company.

"Oh my sweet girl!"rushed the woman instantly spooning Dew,"and the kids too!Oh come here you-"taking notice of the three spix chicks,she didn't really spare them either.

"Aunty Dew, I can't breathe -"muffled Tiago lodged between the females.

"Just bear with it-"replied the aunt,also close to losing oxygen completely
